His friends passed away that’s what this song is about. This songs hits hard for me cause just a few years ago one of my really good friends took his own life. I miss him everyday

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss you will always remember their voice you will always remember their smile you always remember how happy they were.. the survivor's guilt is really something else isn't it I've been through many suicides very very hard to deal with just remember that you did all you could..😑🕊🧡🖤

The song is about his friend Jamal Edwards. He was the founder of SBTV & he showcased lesser knownUK grime talent. He helped Ed in the very beginning. They were like brothers and the video was set at a football stadium that Jamal was a fan of. RIP Jamal

The song called Supermarket Flowers is a beautiful song about the loss of his grandmother who he was close to. It's a beautiful song and will probably bring tears to your eyes. Great song

I played that song for my mom at her funeral. My dad NEVER cries, but he got so upset hearing the song he had to leave the service.

Jamal Edwards founded the KZfaq channel SBTV. This platform helped to launch the careers of Ed, stormzy, Dave. Massive contribution to UK artists. Unfortunately he passed. Hence why Ed released this track on the SBTV label. RIP Jamal. I salute you ❤️

You guys should definitely do some more Ed Sheeran. He became so popular I think a lot of people were a bit tired of hearing him but he has undeniable talent, and does a lot of writing for other huge artists, some of their biggest songs actually.
