P.s I know there is a version on KZfaq with subtitles. I watched the wrong one... but i did go over the lyrics in English after the reaction so i know what the song is about. Just wanted the authentic experience and not to be distracted by reading... Actually I liked the translation you read better than the one on the video, so you did good. Great reaction to a Legendary performance of their most beautiful song.

It was doubly emotional for Damiano that night. It was the anniversary of them winning the San Remo Festival a year before and his girlfriend was in the audience. Although the group said this was a song about a girl the band knew it was also said to be loosley based on his girlfriend's journey and the son did not have a happy ending.

First, it was oh I like this reactor, let's just see who this is he's reacting to....then it was aww, it's not English, probably wasted on me....but.... WOW I just rocked to this dude like he was Ronnie Radke, who I'm half in love with, and I had absolutely no clue what the man was saying.😮❤ Thanks for putting this one up, glad I was stalling going to bed and curious.

Maneskin are awesome! I've done a few reactions to them that are in English...but had some people recommend this song so I thought I'd give it a bash. I also didn't understand what he was singing but I was just captivated by Damiano's voice and presence! At the end I read the lyrics in English and it seemed like such a sad song. Could tell from the performance. If you love Ronnie have you seen my reaction to "All my life"? That song was freaking awesome! 💜

you are incredible as a reactor I love what you offer thank you very much for reading the lyrics! they are so beautiful! at the end damiano was crying he couldn't stop the presenter gave him a hug we were all watching live crying🤧😭it is a song written for his fiancée at the time with whom he stayed for almost seven years, giorgia soleri who suffered from various invisible illnesses and who was treated as crazy by doctors.. she was diagnosed afterwards 8 years of suffering.she is now a feminist activist and fights for the recognition of these diseases, she is an incredible woman! she was there that evening damiano was looking at her during the song it was so beautiful .. for a long time he couldn't sing it live without crying 🥰 you got the meaning thank you very much!!

This song is a masterpiece! For us non-Italian speakers it is even more amazing, as the emotions come through so strongly even with no understanding of the lyrics. The song is so complex, that it is impossible to grasp it all in one take. Reading the translation while listening for the first time ruins the mood. Once through just feeling it and then reading the translation a second time through while listening is the way to appreciate this amazing piece of art. Great reaction.

@@ShaneAlanGower This video is nicer to watch, but if you're not familiar with the lyrics (and don't speak Italian), the version with subtitles is worth watching because the lyrics are such an important part of this song.

@Jasmine-in-my-mind I read the lyrics after watching the video(which is in this video). I know there is another version on KZfaq with the lyrics but I watched the wrong version. I'm always prone to doing the "wrong" thing. Didn't want to be distracted reading the lyrics and not get the feel for the music. Such a tragic song and I could tell it meant a lot to Damiano 💜

Leggi la traduzione del testo. È la storia vera di una giovane che Damiano ha conosciuto grazie alla sua ex fidanzata. Storia terribile. Ed ha elaborato la sofferenza scrivendoci una canzone che presento' dal vivo proprio li a Sanremo. A fine esibizione piangeva. Il testo conclude con in città c'è un castello..... il castello è un noto cimitero di Roma perché la ragazza è morta.
