I feel the same way you do about Marko. His is the voice I turn to when I need steadying in my life. I, of course, saw this when this video first came out and have to have watched it at least a dozen times since. It's just so darn good to see Marko looking so fine in that lovely leather tux of his. And, to hear the amazing colors of his voice. I recognized Clementine from Visions of Atlantis, but the other two women were new to me. Exit Eden has a wonderful rich sound. Marko, with his uncanny ability to harmonize well with most people added just the right amount of depth. I actually hope that they collaborate again.

Not sure how some of these bands don't give Nightwish a real good run for the money. Marko really likes his Underworld choice of clothes, hes worn it for 2 years now. Exit Eden is much like Northern Kings which Marko plays in, supergroup of friends singing covers. Although this song is original from what I understand.

I have a similar feeling about Marko, smth about his voice is just soothing and feels like a weight is lifted off your shoulders. For me it's the same with Floor too, both their voices have some kind of magic to them. Love this song, everything about it.

Marko is always a good choice as a guest singer. In this song too, his voice was just the right choice, which made the song better. Although the song itself was already good! Marko's ability to sing together with anyone is amazing. He is able to adapt his voice really nicely to whatever the need is. Definitely one of the best rock / metal singers. Marko has been an amazingly good singer his whole career and the fact that we get to enjoy his singing skills is kind of an accident. Because in the Tarot someone just had to start singing... They didn't want to include one extra person. So, Marko then decided that he will sing because no one else will! 😅 A happy decision for us, because we have been able to enjoy his singing for 40 years now in very different situations and music genres.

I am a simple woman, I hear Marko and I'm happy. He has a unique colour to his voice, doesn't he? And I really enjoy the folky vibe in this song, and I agree on the drums, they sound epic! Exit Eden was formed a few years ago by Amanda Sommerville, however she's no longer with them. Fun fact, I saw the woman in the white dress, Marina la Torraca, open for Blackbriar with her band Phantom Elite. They didn't blow me away, but that lady can sing! It was cool to recognise her in this. And the video is soooo pretty!

Nice! Anna, Marina amd Clémentine are awesome in their own right - you should check out Exit Eden's previous stuff when Amanda was still a member. Some great covers there. Clémentine is also the lead vocalist of Visions of Atlantis, who are DEFFO worth a listen.

This song is such a nice nod to Marko. For me, the 'featured singer' is often relegated to a repetitive line in the chorus (I'm looking at you, Timo) Here, Marko gets the lead and the supergroup of ladies simply pick the protagonist apart with Harpy-Siren precision. Great song, great reaction, great times on this end. And I agree : Marko's voice, thru all the rasp , is a comfort and a friend all in itself. Oh Exit Eden I am so glad they're back even if it is without Amanda Somerville. You know my dad asked one of the singers Marina about Exit Eden when we went to the Ad Infintum and Blackbriar concert because who opened for them? Phantom Elite the band of Marina! So I can give a few recommendations for Phantom Elite I will trust the other commenters to request the bands of the other singers. So for Phantom Elite: Apex, Diamonds and Dark and Birdcage (this is a beautiful ballad). For Exit Eden they did covers on their first album so you can pick any pop song you like and they might have a cover of it.

The reason you are doing the music reviews right is simple you focus on 2 things, the music and people (including how they feel) This has introduced me to another great band, Marco adds a powerful male counterpoint to the women singing, musically it is somewhere between the medieval and symphonic proving yet again traditional instruments work in metal. I think your outlook for the channel and what it serves in your life is great. As you say. there is a freedom when not chasing stats and just doing it for the experience. Same for me doing my radio show. As I am a volunteer at the station and not employed (we all are), there is less pressure to perform a certain way etc. I do love folk-metal and this was very enjoyable. Great dynamic between the voices and song sections.

I found this song to be quite boring tbh. It's just composed out of the very familiar themes but that's it. Yes, it works. But it's boring... The best section of the song is from 3:00 to 3:30. That's nice and I like it... but the rest? Meh... I love Marko's voice, but without a great songwriting it's just an awesome voice.

In my opinion this is so far worst song from Exit Eden. It is still good though but not as good as any their other songs on the first album were, or those were all covers, but I anyway was not heard the originals before their versions. I listened the originals afterwards out of curiosity but those were shit all compared to the covers. I understand why they chose this as a first single as Marco Hietala will bring lot more views. It is not best song where Marco Hietala has been in either. It is still good but any of them original level.
