To my understanding the guy that walked in the room was her drug dealer. He had came over, saw she had over dosed, and took advantage of her. Sometime after he left, her assistant came in and found her.

I was really shocked she showed this but it was needed. More people go through this than you know. I love her vulnerability to show what happened to her in detail that night.

The guy who gave her the drugs was not her boyfriend, he sold her the drugs she passed out/ overdosed and he took advantage or her sexually and left her to die, her assistant found her the next morning

Unfortunately you’re right-not everyone makes it. A year and a half ago on 10/2 my two sons were addicted to heroin/fentanyl and od’d on that night. My 21 year old made it, my 20 year old died. Losing my baby almost killed me. My now 23 year old turned his life around and has been clean and sober since that night. Thank you so much for the message at the end for people who need help.

She had three strokes and a heart attack she was in complete organ failure and on dialysis. From what I understand she was basically dead multiple times it is an absolute miracle she survived. She's almost blind now she can't drive anymore but somehow that voice stayed absolutely amazing.

the guy wasn't her bf, it was her drug dealer that she had called over cuz she wanted to get high. when she OD'd he took advantage of her without her consent and left her for dead. the next morning her assistant found her like that and called 911

Fentanyl is such a strong drug my ex used to use Fentanyl patches for his MS and sometimes he would chew on them that was scary.

A lot of people really don’t make it. My dad OD on opioids and went into a coma. A week later at 14, I held his hand when we pulled the plug and he died. The family decided to donate his organs and he saved 5 peoples lives. I’m now 20 and I would give anything for my dad to be here. It’s horrible what drugs do to people.

So powerful and brave, so proud of her, she went thru hell and back...After a night of drinking she called her dealer who gave her the drugs, sexually assaulted her and left her for dead...The video show everything from that night down to the clothes shes wearing even her hair, So BRAVE..Thanks for reaction, Peace

When you get to the end of the song when the screen goes black with that water circle the next verse she sings the chorus and it looks like she is just screaming she is they said on set there was no lip syncing at that point she literally just started letting out guttural screams and she was the co-director and she said that it was authentic and she wanted it in there and she said it was cathartic.

Just after hearing about her OD I saw someone saying “why did she live and *insert other famous person who OD’d* died?” And tons of people were saying they wished she died so the other one lived and even if I hated Demi (which I have loved her for years) that’s still NOT FUCKING OKAY TO SAY. Made me sick.

True! It wasn't me, but as you said "THAT HURT!" Demi Lovato has sprayed Windex on her soul's transparency and saved not only herself, but I am sure thousands of those too ashamed to show their dark side, especially in the entertainment industry such as Jimi Hendricks or Amy Winehouse, Etc.
