Thanks for the content. I could defintly tell how much fun you all had on the AoS stream. I did go to my FLG store Saturday for AoS. Not interested in skaventide since not collecting either faction and I have 1.5 full armies to paint already. I put everything else for the game on the counter and on checkout they realized it was all still pre order until next week and couldn’t give it to me. They ran over to the new release shelf and hauled it all off…… Positives of the day, I live in a fairly low population density area and at least 15-20 starter boxes were sold here on pre order or pickup, including my cousin who had fallen out of GW games 3-4 years ago. Maybe I’ll get to play a few new people, though I suspect to face a lot of skaven lol. Also my FLG store cornered me and “forced” me to buy a sylvaneth spearhead at a 25% discount since the cover was damaged. Duno what I am doing to do with a 5th tree lord kit in these current regiment rules lol.

Been dipping into Heresy this year. Slowly building out some Imperial Fists. A friend is working on Salamanders. Love seeing more Heresy on the tabletop. Genuinely love the system.

People who say 30k is marine Vs marine is dull. With legion traits, with legion special units it's way beyond that. Each army is completely different to the next and you will bring very different units. Get that out of your head and embrace 30k

I’ve started branching out into GW’s other games after falling out of love with 10th edition. Titanicus, Necromunda and middle earth are all fantastic.

Panoptica have done rules for orks and eldar. I've tried them and they are very balanced for 30k

Thanks for another great stream. Time zone difference means I can only really watch after - and busy work plus current Skyrim playthrough means I'm way behind on streams. I really like thinking about other GW games from the perspective of, knowing what I know now, what advice would I go back and give myself going into the hobby. I think I would tell myself, to get into Blood Bowl and Warcry earlier while the local scene was happening. And tell myself that eventually you will enjoy painting individual models that are cool without a desire to collect that faction. I would tell myself that collecting a big army is cool for a faction you love to paint. But, for other factions it's just not worth it.

Changing to play a different game every now and then is like a clean pair of underwear. They are new and exciting and you are happy you did it, but after a while you realize that you have to do it again to not end up miserable.

Well your opinion just happens to be fact. Because 7th ed(horus heresy) was the best 40k since 5th and aos is the best game theyve ever made!
