Buffalo are definitely a team to beat, what he meant was in the context of early in that specific game, Buffalo looked uncharacteristically shit and it seemed like the Ravens were gonna walk the game but as the game progressed, Buffalo turned the tide

Oh man you've opened up a pandora's box. Urinating Tree himself has amazing videos. Lolcows, legacies of failure, and hater's guides to sports, just to name a few. Then he does a couple weekly live streams, the dumpster fire and clickbait sports

I was worried that the vid might be overwhelming for anyone new to Tree's style of recapping. He's been doing this for a few years and there are ongoing narratives and storylines from past seasons. For example that DAYS OF OUR STEELERS thing. Back in 2018 the Pittsburgh Steelers were a team filled with so much drama and BS that it was basically a daytime soap opera. Therefore Tree chose to document the drama in a side series appropriately named DAYS OF OUR STEELERS. Good on you guys for keeping up. It always pleases me to see folks from overseas enjoying our pastimes. Keep it up 👍🏿.

HEY, the NFL actually got a good game in London! That's amazing. And Brits are used to seeing balls go off the posts so the double-doinked field goal to end the game was something even non-NFL fans there could surely understand.

A player is not forced to retire after 3 concussions. As long as they pass the concussion protocol and are cleared by an independent Doctor they are free to play no matter the number of concussions they have had. It's up to the player to decide if he should retire after numerous concussions. The large salaries make that a hard choice for a player to walk away from.

Buffalo is the team to beat, but they're getting wrecked by injuries right now. They still have a +96 point differential and Josh Allen is leading the league in passing while having sat out nearly an entire game due to being pulled because the lead was so big

@@getawayred He has sat for a total of 46 minutes and 12 seconds across 5 games. That is over 3 quarters of play. He sat 13 minutes and change in the Rams game, 18 minutes and change in the Titans game, and 14 minutes and change in the Steelers game.

Yes Daz, the Jets QB is awesome. Young kid from my college BYU. It’s his second year in the league and he’s coming back off of a leg injury… Big hopes he ends up being a long term elite quarterback… glad you noticed his skill

Buffalo is the team to beat. They didn’t get off to a slow start. The dolphins beat them by 2 after playing in weather conditions that should have postponed the game from guys leaving with heatstroke. They’re 4-1 with a point differential of +91. The next highest team is 47. Go Bills

Chiseled Adonis does weekly recaps too. I think his videos are a lot more funny but everyone has their own tastes. I highly recommend them. His recap of the Thursday night game between the Broncos and Colts was hilarious.

@@TalentedThumbs I'm rooting for the birds. As a Giants fan I know our style of play isn't sustainable unless we get our skill players back. Literally missing our top 4 WR's and weak at DB. I know we just re-signed Landon Collins but it's a new defense for him and he's more of a hybrid linebacker. Haven't seen much of the Eagles this year, but the Cowboys defense scares me.

To explain the Bills situation, we are still in many ways the team to beat. If you look at the start of the season we were blowing teams out of the water. But we have been plagued by injuries to our starters. Our entire starting secondary is out, and some other key guys on defense, among several other big players. However we are currenty 4-1, leading the AFC East. Just got done beating up Tree's Steelers (but as you can see it's not that big of an accomplishment this season). We have a tough one VS Kansas City this week.

Dave has mentioned multiple times that the NFL or the NHL have a certain number of concussions before an athlete is forced to retire. No such rule exists in any major North American sports league. It has been recommended by some medical professionals that there be a three concussion rule for a single season, and many youth leagues do have such a rule, but no major professional league has made any such concussion rule. None of the leagues would be able to unilaterally enforce such a rule unless the players’ association agreed in a collective bargaining agreement either. And even if the owners and players agreed, such a rule would likely be challenged in court, which would be interesting.

So the "quack" or the "Sonic coin" sound effects are when the ball gets coughed up. The "nom"s are when someone gets tackled/stuffed. The "mine"s are when there's a dogpile for a ball. Dave was right about the "Unit lost" sound effect being from one of the Command & Conquer games. That's used whenever a player isn't just injured, but may be out for several games or the rest of the season. For all that, I've never figured out what the "hot pocket" sound effect means. It's usually when someone goes into the end zone. Is it for any TD, or for a TD celebration? UrinatingTree is a master of sound effects. lol.

I think the hot pocket is for a pick six and the coin sound is for interceptions while the quack if for fumbles.

Overtime rules in the regular season are kinda trash. First team to score wins, unless the team to get possession 1st kicks a FG, then the opponent has a chance to possess the ball. If that team re-ties with a feild goal the game continues where next points win. If neither team scores the game is a tie. In playoffs the game continues until someone scores.

Buffalo's doing very alright now, but there were two games in a row that it was a little tough. Then this past week they utterly destroyed Pittsburgh. (I think this IS our year, but that's what I thought two years ago.)
