Whether his own songs or covers, there is something magical about Rod Stewart's soul that always shines through. My current faves are Broken Arrow, The First Cut is the Deepest, Lost in You, Sailing, Sometimes When We Touch. The list goes on, he's true greatness.

This song came out when I was a little girl. My older sister would kiss me when the lyrics said "she kissed her little sister goodbye" then she ran away for like a month with her older boyfriend. Drove my mom crazy looking for her. True story.

This was my best friend's oldest brother's favorite Rod Stewart song when we were growing up. He passed away in 1993 but I always think of him when I hear this song.

Rod adapted to every music era from the 60s to the 90s and was successful each time. I don't see how anyone could not find at least 1 song of his they like. I'd recommend Baby Jane, Passion, Every Picture Tells a Story and Mandolin Wind. Check 'em out. Thanks again for another great reaction.

It was beautiful to see that after all this time this song still hits people the way it did then. It’s fast, crisp, slick, and catchy, with a killer hook. When you have that much going for it, it’s hard to screw up. It’s the only Stewart song I ever liked, and it epitomized straightforward, no-nonsense, radio-friendly early ‘80s pop.
