Girls, I' put in 35 years as a keyboardist/drummer, and very rarely I'd meet white guys that just had soul in thier playing, and they so fun to work with. Those guys in WIld Cherry could jam a stage with me, anytime. But there's many 70's funk/soul musicians/bands that were white, like Motown bassist Bob Babbit, Guitarist Dennis Coffey, Average White Band, Boz Scaggs and Tower of Power, to name a few.

I remember this song. It came out around the time of the disco vs rock war. It was an awesome song. Still is.
