Please be respectful on your comments and stay Positive. I thought this product would be good for some people, not everyone. That is why I contacted the company to send one out for review. Many people lost their minds when the 3 didn't come out with air suspension and where worried about scrapping the bumper. This will solve that problem for $148. If it's not for you that is fine. But stay POSITIVE.

Man, I love your channel, and I really appreciate you taking the time to review all of these awesome Tesla products. But unfortunately, it is seriously hard to "stay positive" regarding a product that is over priced by about a hundred bucks. As of right now, they are asking $150 for $5 Bill Of Materials worth of rubber and adhesive. I really don't mind guys making a profit on neat products that they come up with for our cars, but blatant greed is blatant greed. And it's hard to stay positive about that. Max I'd ever consider for a product like this is fifty bucks. I just won't support or "stay positive" for such blatant greed. I really did try to stay positive man, but come on...

It seems like this product reduces the ground clearance and angle clearance, making ground contact more frequent. I‘ll stick with scrapes that are out of view.

No it doesn't the protection is on the paint area of the bumper. The black plastic piece goes lower farther back. If you are to hit any curb once this is going to protect it. Most people have a case on their phone and that make it bigger and noticeable. This you wont see but it will protect the bumper

For the side bumper pieces, you could paint them with krylon to make them less noticeable.

For anyone else with a model 3, the front bumper “mud guard” dives down quite a bit right before the transition to the tire well, so it’s very likely to get scrapped up if you pull all the way up to a tall parking bar (whatever they are called, lol). Did it once and was worried it got my paint, but it didn’t 👍

Eh.. too late! Wifey scraped front bumper in first week of ownership and curbed both passenger side rims a couple weeks later. I don't blame her, it could have happened to me. The problem is it took some getting used to the dimensions/limitations of the car and to understand the warning signals the car gives when getting close to objects. These nicks and scrapes have happened to other cars we have owned, except they were only half as expensive. The under bumper scrapes aren't visible unless one especially looks there. The rims, meh. We aren't happy about it, but not unhappy enough yet to throw even more money at this financial stretch vehicle. Function is far more important than fashion for us.

I don’t get it. Instead of a scraped bumper, you have a non-removable piece of plastic stuck on...that is going to get scraped. I may be wrong, but I think someone made some $$ to put out this video. Not blaming...I’d do it too if someone wanted to pay me. The product just doesn’t make sense.

$175? Pass... here's my trick = learn to judge the curb by using the underside of your side view mirrors. Imagine a line from your eye to the bottom of the mirror to the curb... practice it, get out and check.

I am wrapping my car now. That is why I got this product. It is idea to install tis before the wrap but you can put it over the vinyl. It will just come off when you change the wrap

At about 10:18 I was expecting the next line to be “and they come with a set of ginsu knives ....” - some honest feedback, this comes off like a sales pitch for which your getting a cut - if you want to seem more authentication, come right out at the beginning and highlight the price, then make the video about whether they are worth it ...

I would rather see Tesla add a 360 degree view option like my Nissan Murano had. That way you can see if you are getting near an obstruction and that you are centered in a parking space.

you could just as easily steal someone's car keys and do the same thing, but in reality, stealing a phone is harder because people are addicted to them.

Also keep in mind the tesla is tracked and everything is recorded to the cloud so you will be caught within 30 minutes of the car being noticed as stolen. That's why there has not been a single tesla not caught after being stolen.
