HEADS UP: I made this video at 3am last night because my throat was on fire. I woke up this morning and my throat is sore, so I’m going to rest it today and hopefully I can get a video out tomorrow. I was planning to do a live stream tonight on this winter storm threat, but that might have to be canceled.

Make sure if you get a fever to get checked for Strep. My 45yr old neighbor was hospitalized for 3 weeks. Just attacked his system.

Same! We are right on the line here in Fauquier. We told a few days ago maybe 6-12”; or maybe just 2 inches. Really is up a roll of the dice for us. I have no plans on going out either way. We did get our Sheriff ‘weather emergency’ alert for tomorrow though.

Same. They seem to really feel unsure about the placement of the system in comparison to model predictions. My local meteorologists are guessing we will have rain, rather than any snow at all.

Yep same here in Pittsburgh. Right now my forecast is either a trace of snow or 3 inches. I'm more worried about the Jan 9th storm.

I’m here in Philly and they aren’t sure what we’ll get this weekend. All depends on where the low pressure actually goes. It’s funny that all the tv meteorologists will tell you that, then they’ll give a snow accumulation report anyway. The computer models more or less guess. The actual storm will go where it wants to go.

It makes me laugh when it snows in England. we get a few inches of snow and the roads grind to a halt!!! we don't know what snow is here compared to this. Wow. that IS deep. thanks for this video.

The models i look at are showing 8 - 12 inches here in st louis on the 12 - 13 which gets me excited. And yes i know its a week away so it will probably change.

It’s gonna do whatever it can to avoid snow in Eastern Ohio. Just like the others after it. Don’t need computer models, maps, “what ifs” none of it. Whatever it takes for a storm system to go around, wrap around, go under, whatever it may be for my local weatherman to say the following “It looks like the major snow is going to avoid us” That’s the outcome.
