Steventhen shares his testimony of finding Christ and becoming a worship leader and how the tragedy of miscarriage led to the realization that God wanted him to find his birth mother. At 17 I was raped. At 18 I gifted her through adoption to a family after spending 4 days in the hospital with her. That pregnancy was a blessing. It saved my life, and giving her away is the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but I could not let the man who hurt me, also make her a victim. It nearly broke me to let her go, but I feared for her in my life at that time. 21 years later she found me. Now we attend the same church. Live 3/4 of a mile from each other. God know better than we do. He is wiser in leagues!

In my eyes, your testimony is greater than a miracle of physical healing. This is something most of the body of Christ can't imagine God wanting to do. We would rather just hear the crime happened with no pregnancy. Probably because we think God MIGHT be able to bring the spiritual and emotional healing to the female victim. But Him seeking and succeeding in making the baby His child...! That's truly beyond our comprehension!

Praise the Lord. I admire you. I was not raped but I did get pregnant. I wish I had been brave to walk away from the baby's daddy and not cared about who would be disappointed at me getting pregnant 12 years ago. I will forever regret giving into fear and the father's request to get an abortion.

Wow. This was amazing. I had gotten pregnant because of a sexual assault when I was 13. My mom made me go and have an abortion. To this day, it is a profound sadness of my life. God has forgiven me, I have forgiven myself and my mother, but that doesn't make the loss any easier 42 years later. Praise the Lord for this man's mother!

I’m not sure I can watch this episode because it hits too close to home for me. My mom was conceived in r*pe. Her mother was only 13 years old, and it was by a relative. She was so beautiful, and wonderful, and she loved Jesus with all of her heart. She passed away when I was a little girl, but her legacy lives on in me and my 3 siblings, and now her 10 grandchildren. Her amazing mother, my grandmother had to give her up for adoption, but we found her several years ago, and I’m in awe of her, and everything she overcame, and I think about her, and pray every day that Jesus brings her peace and comfort. If you became pregnant through r*pe, I’m so sorry, please know I am praying for you, and especially that God is with you every day. If you were conceived in r*pe, I want you to know that you are so valuable, and just as worth as anyone else of life, and love, and the pursuit of happiness. May God bless, and be with the victims of such h*inous cr*mes, and their children🙏🏻

I love this testimony! I never knew my father. My mother had an affair with a married man (in 1965). I grew up feeling very lost, like a mistake. I had a profound experience with the Holy Spirit who led me very directly to Psalm 139: 13-16.

I just attended a memorial service this last weekend to honor the lives of the aborted children in the US, and we had a speaker attend who shared a similar testimony and it really pierces my heart. This warmed my heart in many ways. Its so healing to see this beautiful testimony. Our daughter is adopted and her birth mom l who is also developmentally delayed had a very similar experience. She is 32 with the mental and emotional capacity of an 11 yr old. There is so much pain and brokenness...but God! God turned those things for his glory. It is still hard most of. The time but there is joy seeing this little life that was saved all bc our daughter's birthmom chose life for her baby. Puts so much in perspective. I will always be grateful that the birth mom was willing to give her to us so she could have a better life. Glory to God!

A few years ago I bumped into a young girl with special needs that I had met through a charity I was working with. She asked if I'd have a coffee with her so we went into a local coffee shop, sat down with our lattes and she proceeds to bring an ultrasound photo out of her bag. She had just been for this scan and I was the first person she told. She was 24 weeks! She hadn't realized she was pregnant but went to the doctor to have her next birth control implant (which her mother insisted she have) and the doctor realized it was too late. I asked her how she was going to tell her mom and she was scared because she knew her mother (a midwife) would want her to "get rid of it" but thankfully L was switched on enough to know that she didn't want to have an abortion. When we parted I just had to pray her mother wouldn't force her to end the pregnancy. Next time I saw her she said her mom was really angry and they did go to the doctor together but the doctor told her they were too late to terminate. The one thing she was adamant about was that she was keeping her baby and thankfully her social worker supported her. She went on to have a beautiful baby girl but I know her mom is still bitter about having this "extra worry". 😢 Years ago they used to sterilize young women with special needs. That was considered inhumane so the practice ended. Now they just encourage them to about their babies like that's somehow better!! I don't think either is the right thing to do.

She did THE BEST THING FOR HIM SHE COULD HAVE POSSIBLY DONE! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 This hits home for me... I am currently living a very similar story... and in our story my husband and I are Mr. and Mrs. Holland. God continuously and consistently blows my mind! He is truly working all things out.
