I’m saying this as a Hispanic myself. When many Hispanics open a business (not all, just a decent amount) they tend to be very ambitious. If they open a hair salon they’ll also try to provide waxing services, makeup, and nails. They’ll do everything possible.

The right idea for someone on Instagram pretending to be a makeup artist! This guy did everything wrong not to mention a total lack of hygiene and no makeup kit! Did you see the horrible smudging under her eyes at the end? Within an hour she would have major raccoon eyes! In all aspects he was horrible!

What I meant is that I think he actually has an eye for make-up on a very superficial level. It's not professionally done nor does it look the greatest, his placement and choice of colors are actually just not as horrible as past make up artists Judy's gone through. @@nukesakuji Yep I agree with you. I think he is the type that would truly excell if he went to school and had proper training. Sadly it sounds like that is a near impossibility in that country. I still think she needs to raise her expectations on what is a good makeup artist. From what I have seen even the expensive so call professionals she has gone to are considered subpar or even bad makeup artists in the US. It just shows when you don't have any educational standards the quality and expectations significantly suffer. All my best and have a great week!

Yeah, I think his makeup actually looks pretty. There’s definitely a few things that need help but he has some natural talent. I think the “worst” part in his worst reviews were about his incessantly pushy attitude unfortunately :/

The way he did it I’m wondering if he maybe took classes like 10/20 years ago? It looks very 2000s to me in a lot of ways with a few areas more up to date (like the contouring/highlighting methods and the concealed eyebrows) which he could’ve learned online? I could be wrong

At least he only went at her eyebrows with a razor instead of tweezers. At least they'll come back a bit faster that way. What Judy should really do is look into microblading to fill in the gaps & maybe they'll leave her brows alone! (that will be a research project for her - finding a good technician!)

This was bugging the crap out of me, too. I hate it when people over-line their lips. It's like "You know....I can see where your lip ends and your chin starts, right?"

I think he was trying to balance out the proportions of her lips and failed miserably. Judy's lips are similar to my sister's. My sis for a long time thought lipstick didn't look good on her bc of it and that is completely false! Both Judy and my sis look great with or without lipstick and do not need to over line their lips at all.

So confusing to me 😂

That's Show Makeup from a past decade. It has 80s and early 2000 vibes. It could only look okay with heavy theatre lights shining directly onto her. The Makeup is too dark, the eyeshaddow too pigmented and clumsily applied, the Eyeliner is too much, the contour is literally not her race, the rouge looks like she has a condition and don't get me started on the lips.

Literally why I don't take my butt- length hair to ANYBODY to get cut, and taught myself how to do it at home! No one EVER listens to me... they think people with fine textured hair can't possibly grow really long hair without it looking super thin and sad 🙄 I finally stopped letting them hack away at it "in my best interests" several years ago after overt twenty years of that crap. As a professional MUA for several decades I have to disagree. He learned some bad styles and horrible techniques on social media, nothing more. He has no eye for what looks good and what is symmetrical or over done! He is a dangerous train wreck that could and will give innocent clients viruses and very dangerous bacterial infections due to his complete lack of standard hygiene and sterilization techniques.

You can leave lightener in for up to an hour, if you're starting off with very dark hair. No more than that, and less if you're under a heat cap. That man absolutely lost his hair.

Look every 5 Minutes to the bleached hair ... I think 25 For my hair OK ... And then use conditiner and Massage one minute ... Than Shampoo For dry hair .. and then hope the Best by drying the hair

Lol I was also under 2-3 hours once. Only my front hair got burned slightly though. I wasn't that worried over hair loss (I have way too much hair anyway). What was worse was when he combed the dried backcombed bleach out of my hair like he was trying to rip my hair out of my scalp🙃 First time I cried at the hairdresser and 10/10 worst pain I ever experienced. My scalp was sensitive for more than 30 minutes after that. He also didn't really...do what I asked for lol For 150€🙃 At least my front hair recovered quickly.

I have had an actual MUA do my eyes (she already knew I had sensitive eyes btw) and she still made a mini attempt at tightlining my eyes. Well the top didn't work out at all, the bottom took like 10 mins because I would have to have a blinking break every few milimetres of the line. And that was with products specifically for those inner eye stuffs. I have no idea of how Judy survives this

It depends on the color you are coming from, light brown and blond hair bleaches quickly but dark brown and black hair takes more time, 4 hours is realistic but you would usually do it in two settings with a larger break inbetween
