What’s up with the rebel attitude? Trump has no ability to win this battle. No ability to appeal it if he is jailed. The judge has given him a wide path and he willfully refuses to abide by the rules of the court. I would be saddened that a Judge would have to go that far, but it certainly is not the Judge’s issue. Trump would cause his own issue. That is the problem with Trump. He never accepts responsibility for his actions. He will have to this time. Let’s hope he’s smart enough to not cause his own problems. He knows the rules. It’s Trump choice to cause his own incarceration now. You can’t blame a judge unless you do not respect our courts, our laws, or our constitution. I’d vote for Trump if he would just apologize, but he is too weak to admit he is ever wrong. I can never trust a guy that thinks he’s perfect and his lies are easily debunked. But that’s just me. You can be you. I’m good with that. He called my fallen brothers “losers” and “suckers” and still has not apologized. So not my guy until he does. But if you like him, that’s ok. It’s America.

Depending on the severity the Judge lays out a number of warnings first. Not just after the first contempt. In addition i am not a fan by overreacting and join a Toddler playing dirtball... beeing levelheaded patient and not emotionally driven or angry is wise. If you like or not... this is delicate case.. and when your best outcome is that Trump gets judged guilty. It should be acknowledged that it is delicate. Is it fair? No, its not. But as i said when you want him to face consequences be patient.

Susen, Trump is the criminal defendant, meaning he is the one on trial facing jail time. If he wants to defend himself he needs to testify, not attempt to influence witnesses, court staff, or the jury standing in the court hallway. Also personally I think its good the judge gave Trump a solid chance to attend court. That grace period is over however and the judge made it clear he’s facing jail time on the next contempt. He’s had more than fair warning.

He is doing his job; trying to prevent appeals, trial delays, etc., while finding Trump in contempt. By the time he is eventually jailed for contempt, Trump will have no room to make legal complaints of any type about being persecuted.
