After weeks of flirting with Twin-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS) symptoms, it is time to have fetoscopic surgery to save our twins. Today we continue the emotional journey of our Mo/Di identical twins. Unfortunately, the post-op appointments continue to bring challenges for our girls. Thanks for the love and prayers during these difficult times.

I found out I was pregnant with identical twin girls when I was 40 years old. They also developed TTTS and I was immediately sent to Cincinnati, Ohio. Your story is sooooo similar to mine. Bladder issues, kidney issues, one was swimming in a pool and the other was in saran wrap essentially. I had the same procedure with 2 liters of fluid drained off. I was monitored extremely closely. With lung, and heart meds to give them the best possible outcome. C-section was scheduled at 32 weeks. They were born at 2lbs 15oz and 3lbs. They were in the NICU for almost exactly a month and discharged. Not a single significant health issue...just need to grow. We now have 2 very happy healthy just turned 9 year olds in September. YOU GOT THIS MAMA!

My great granddaughters were momo ttts twins. My granddaughter had the laser surgery by the surgeon who created the procedure here in Florida. Believe me when I tell you that miracles DO happen. They are 4 years old now and bundles of energy and joy. Keep your faith in our Father in heaven.

My church moms group is praying for you and your family. I had a friend who's twins also developed TAPS after TTTS surgery. They were told the same thing by the doctors in Denver. Her boys are now 7 years old and living happy healthy lives. I hope this gives you comfort and hope.

I used to work NICU as a respiratory therapist. I’ve helped deliver and grow 22-24 weekers. It’s a long journey but lots of them have grown up and are now absolutely thriving!!! Be encouraged. Lean on your medical staff. You got this momma. ❤❤❤

I couldn't agree more. My son was born at 26 weeks a whopping 2 lbs 3 ozs 39 yrs ago. I can't imagine the improvements since then. He's happily married with two girls of his own. Margaret 2 1/2 and Ruth born three weeks ago. He a healthy loving man.

I was born at 25 weeks in the early 1980’s at 1 pound ten and a quarter ounces and or 745 grams. I have had open heart surgery when I was 4 weeks old as one of the valves didn’t close properly. I have grown up and I am happily married to my beautiful Hubby and we have two precious boys of our own. Our Heavenly Father is so good. I do have a few chronic illnesses (endometriosis and chronic kidney disease) which we only found out when I was pregnant (at age 30) as I had Gestational Diabetes (and we are so very thankful that Dr sent me to a Renal Specialist soon after we had our son as he wanted to get some results checked out) with our first precious son who is now 10. God is a God of miracles. He knows our needs before we do. I have an amazing team of Dr’s and Specialists who take great care of me and I have had many great Dr’s and Specialists who also cared for me so many years ago when I was born so very unwell.

I continue to pray for your sweet babies, you, mark, and the boys. I worked in a high risk labor and delivery for almost 20 years. I have seen so many babies make it despite terrible prognosis and not only survive but thrive. Babies weighing less than a pound, babies who had one diagnosis in utero but come out with little to no issues. God is with you and carrying you through. ❤

I know exactly how you’re feeling I was carrying triplets, but in the end only one survived. He truly is a miracle we were told not to get our hopes up, because there was no way he would survive but I couldn’t give up while he was fighting. The mix of emotions when I was being told at least I had one survived all I can remember thinking why are people so cruel? All these babies were precious even more, so because I could never carry another baby to give a sibling to my son, who wanted nothing more. Take all the time you need and give yourself grace. This is your journey and only yours and never give up hope because sometimes against all the odds a miracle can happen and I only hope you also have your miracle like mine💞

Praying for both babies and for the family.... God will provide what is needed ... I am asking for a miracle for both girls !! We love you all ! Continuous prayers ! I am a M/D twin.. My sister and I were born in 1952 . We had many trying times while mom was pregnant with us... but no one even knew there were twins.. until I was born 20 min after my sister... Drs did not have the equipment then that they have now... Our hearts beat in unison so they never heard but one heart beat... .. We had a few issues after being born... My sister weighed 5 lb 6 oz I weighed 4 lbs 2 oz... After we were born we started thriving.. it took a few months but now we are 71 years old..

Sitting at work watching this video. Our grand daughter was born 5 weeks early at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. She was diagnosed with CDH 3 months before her birth. She had so many people and churches praying for her. She's doing good. Never forget, God is in control. I've been praying for your girls, and I paused the video to pray again. I am sending hugs and prayers. My TTTS warriors just entered their freshman year of high school and are exceptionally healthy girls. Our surgery was at 18 weeks and we delivered at 31 weeks. They were born healthy and just needed to grow before leaving the NICU. I pray your girls follow the same path. Our girls are year-round soccer players. Sometimes as I watch them, I flash back to the fear we felt at the time of our diagnosis. It seems surreal when I think of that time period. Praying your surgery went well and that your pregnancy continues uneventfully.

Like you, I’ve been a silent watcher since the video about the gender reveal came up in my suggested to watch video section. I clicked and immediately subscribed to this channel. I’m 59 and was also unable to have children. I root for others struggling, or having complications. I prayed for every family member on this channel as well as for the Doctors, staff, and everyone involved.

I prayed for you, the baby girls, your family, extended family and Luna as well. She’s being a good support kitty. I have chronic illness and a year ago a kitty showed up in my back yard. I didn’t even like cats and did everything to get rid of him. He kept returning and once Winter arrived I decided to feed and shelter him. I named him Mule Lee due to his stubbornness and fell in love. Well, needless to say Mule Lee is still here as Winter approaches again. He has been a wonderful companion. Stay close to Him! My last baby had a 4% chance and I was told after weeks of ultrasounds that I had to “make a decision”. 3 days later, the next ultrasound was perfect! We serve the God of miracles. I bleed the blood of Jesus over this pregnancy. Let these girls be tiny yet mighty! With an amazing birth story. ♥️ Praying, praying, praying. All of our Mama hearts are breaking along with yours. Things don’t always make sense. BUT, His ways are higher. Love you sister.

Lauren I have shared my story on a different video with my daughter. The doctors had told me a list of things that would be “wrong “ with my daughter including Down syndrome, blindness and deaf and that she had to much fluid around her heart, they were wrong about everything. She is now 3 and when you were sharing the bad news she came a sat on my lap. I will continue to pray for you and these babies. ❤
