With my now 20 year old hafflinger we never jump higher than 80 and we kinda never have. We just like to have fun, she loves jumping but we have had an accident a few years ago that did scare me a lot and it held such a grip on me for years. I have kinda let go of trying to "keep up" with other riders. It's about doing what you and your horse enjoys. Casper looked so happy and good and I'm happy we are seeing more of him again

I Esme! I really resonated with your advice at the end of the video. Sometimes I can let jump height get me down, knowing that I have and can jump higher than I am with my horse. But, at the end of the day, If his rhythm, striding, fitness improves who cares about the height! ♥♥♥ I love watching you ride Casper and how you mix the perfect amount of hard work and fun for him!
