On 16 September 1992, opera tenor Luciano Pavarotti was interviewed alongside his then-wife, Adua Pavarotti (née Veroni) in London's Hyde Park Hotel. The pair were discussing the publication of Adua's new book, Life With Luciano, about the world-famous singer's private life with his family and friends. In a 30-minute interview, Luciano and Adua candidly spoke about their lives together after 40 years of marriage. As well as discussing his love of music, food, and people, Luciano shared his belief that Adua had given the love she once had for him to their three daughters following their births. Adua disagreed, saying that she still felt her life completely reveolved around Luciano. When the reporter asked Luciano to sing a bit of his wife's favourite song, Non t'amo più, for her, he refused. Luciano and Adua would divorce in the year 2000, after the opera singer left her for Nicoletta Mantovani, a woman 34 years Adua's junior.
