Gaddafi discussed his desire to unite the Arab world by breaking down the borders between countries, the Arab-Israeli conflict and the possibility of a settlement, Libya's relations with America (who Gaddafi called "our enemy" when it came to the issue of Israel and Palestine), Libya's relationship with Britain ("a colony for America"), and Libya's support for the IRA in their fight against Britain in Northern Ireland.

that's usually the case when you overthrow a leader in a country with citizens that are completely unaware of what democracy is or how to run a country. So it typically results in replacement of the dictator or a shitshow where a civil war erupts.

All the questions about his behavior, understand this man is not like you or me, he was a very powerful individual, people that are at this leve lof power have elevated experiences, responsibilities and engage with the world from a perspective and vantage point youll never understand, he was way too powerful in the world to function normally, he probably had PTSD and more!

Are there any other examples of leaders who were portrayed as evil or tyrants but once they died they were revered and admired like Gaddafi is in the youtube comments be it interviews or documentaries? I always thought he was an asshole but after seeing interviews and constant great comments about him it really makes you wonder. Like don't get me wrong he ain't an angel but seems like Libya is a hell hole now.
