yes but not baby carrots as they can be a choking hazard. also dont recommend more than 1 carrot/day as it can cause an upset stomach

My golden loved frozen blueberries when she was teething still cold but a more healthier option for treats. And carrots honestly I did the kong a lot! Ice cubes were also a big hit. And her favorite toys are still plushy toys especially ones that are like wild life like deer and ducks. Best place we got them are from like tractor supply and cabelas great quality!!

For chewing mix 2 parts white vinegar and 1 part water in a spray bottle. Spray it on anything Cash likes to chew. My husband and I did this when our dog was a puppy and it stopped him from chewing on things within a week!

For healthy treats we alternate between blueberries, apples, and shredded carrots (again, everything in moderation). As for toys, my dog LOVES bark box and literally knows when it’s his package and tries to help open it.

We didn’t have power Tuesday - Thursday and it was not fun 😔 but we tried to make the best of it. It made me so thankful for everything I have right now.

My puppy is a crazy chewer and the only thing that keeps him busy are the benebones for puppies! He also loves frozen blueberries, cantaloupe and baby carrots. Hope this helps

Bully sticks and Himalayan yak milk chews were a lifesaver for our teething puppy!! I would recommend getting the odor free bully sticks because they can be kind of stinky but they are safe chews and last a long time. I would just be sure to not leave them completely alone with them and not get ones too small.

My aunt and uncle went through the same thing with their power going off and on multiple times. My house luckily only lost power for 3 hours and my grandparents never lost power which I'm so thankful for. I had some friends who lost power for 50 + hours and I can't even imagine how cold that must have been. I love the snow but hopefully next time Texas gets it, power outages won't be a major problem.

It's helpful to use hand signals along with key words to teach a puppy tricks! So for instance if you say "sit" make a fist with your hand or palm up and raise your hand, and for "come" use the motion. This helps reinforce the idea!

Chilly Bone (it’s a cloth bone you get wet and then freeze), Nyla puppy bones, Elk half cut antlers, and any GoDog brand stuffy (they are reinforced and don’t have harmful stuffing in them). Kongs are definitely great though! I put blueberries, peanut butter, coconut oil, and a carrot inside my pups kongs and then freeze! :)

My puppy loves frozen carrots. Also I used washcloths twisted, dipped in chicken broth and then frozen. She also loved the wild one bolt more than the kong. If you dont have the bitter apple spray, highly recommend so you can put it on things you dont want to chew.

I’m in Texas too about 20 min from Dallas...we lost power for 3 days ...we had to go stay with my father in law cause it was about 40 degrees in our apartment...I also had horrible luck and got all four of my wisdom teeth out right before the snow and ice...I had all sorts of complications and couldn’t get my pain meds for days cause the pharmacies had no power...we lost water for a day and then had the boil water notice for a few days...luckily our pipes didn’t bust but the poor maintenance man at our apartments has been so busy..ceilings are caved in and apartments are flooded from busted pipes...I went back to work in the ER and we had pipes bust all over the ER and couldn’t use the water for our patients either...I’m so glad all that’s over and honestly am just so thankful we were able to find food,stay warm and safe...we had tons of patients come in for carbon monoxide poisoning trying to stay warm. Glad y’all were able to stay warm and safe❤️

Our dog loves chewing on an antler! It is super hard and feels good on her teeth. I think they sell antler teething pieces at stores! :)

Our puppies loved anything rubber to chew on and the bamboo bones for puppies! Chewy has lots of great rubber chew toys. Be careful if he starts to try to eat the rope because it can get stuck in their tummy.

Hey kong toys are great 👍for our bulldog she loves the kong toys that have plastic inside. It makes a crinkle noise when they chew on it she loves it. Her favorite is the kong octopus toy, all the tentacles she can choose from to chew on. I hope that helps but for my heavy chewer I stick with kong brand toys they last longer 🙂 also they sell like a football style tennis ball that is great for chewing

You can soak the rope-toys in water, and freeze them. Works great for teething:)

We got a puppy (schnoodle) the same day you got Cash (we got Ollie Feb 13th) and you're having MUCH better luck with Zac's training than we are. We can't even get him to sit yet (he's 11 weeks today). He will for a treat held to his mouth, but any distance of the treat from his mouth and he'll just jump up. I will say our pup really likes his puppy bones and they've helped with his biting a LOT. Well, good luck to us both

My dogs love the luma bones! Good for chewing you just have to make sure they don’t chew any pieces off of it. Another thing my trainer told me to do was roll a wash cloth up and then wet it and freeze it. It feels good on their teeth when they are teething!

I would be careful about teaching speak! I taught my Irish doodle how to speak and now she thinks barking will get rewarded and does it more often than I’d like 😞 every dog is different tho! Cash is so cute!!

My goldendoodle LOVED antlers when she was growing up! Highly recommend. I'd recommend finding a hunter that can help you out, though. PetSmart is wayyy too expensive for antlers. Also, she would eat the corners of our house when she was a puppy :) I would also recommend buying a bell for his collar. If the bell stops ringing, they are prob getting in trouble lol

Cute cash, I was amazed about how good my mini Aussie puppy was in the beginning too. No accidents in the crate at all (which isn’t always common) but he didn’t like the crate, even though I showed him it was a good place (so he woke up once each night) but now he sleeps in our bed so he sleeps through the night now but won’t sleep in 😂 but yes the biting only gets worst 😭 love my puppy with all my heart

my puppy’s fave toys were plushies, a fluffy bone shaped one & a dinosaur one, esp for playing fetch. he still has them he was obsessed with them from day one, his silicone chew toys were just ok. but he is a mini schnauzer

Puppies like logs or wood to chew on. They can lather it and it will become softer, so they have more fun with it as it is not only convenient for the itchiness but it becomes also a game to fight boredom. It will make a mess, but rather clean that out instead of trashed furniture. Sticks, split fire wood logs or anything uncoated/natural thinner wood from a store. He surely will go for your ladder or bar stools once you are out the house longer :) Plush toys will not hold up for long and its not that helpful for the itchiness anyways, I find it riles them up even more to become destructive. We have a 4 yo Rhodesian Ridgeback male. Good luck :)
