Today we are riding aboard the Pace I-90 Express. More specifically, we'll be riding route 603, which connects Rosemont with Elgin Transportation Center, a journey of about 35 minutes. These buses make only very few stops, and they have permission to run over the shoulder of the highway (so-called "Flex Lanes") to avoid delays.
The best part of the buses that run over Interstate 90, however, is the luxurious interior. Besides a more sealed-off interior and luggage racks, these have very comfortable seats that even recline. Truly the best seats I've ever been on on a public bus.
