I love the extended intros and outros Thom / AFP use when performing live, it really develops intimacy with the song

I kinda wish Thom sung with a bit more power during latter parts of the studio version, like he does in this performance. He just sounds so powerful and enriched here.

Seen not long ago that Bowie went to one of the first Rolling stones concerts and when they were about to start when a guy shouts from the crowd ( get a haircut!!! There's a pause then Jagger shouts back: what and look like you!!? To see Bowie doing Jagger was brilliant 😂

dude fender bass guitars have a little thumb or finger rest thing built into the pickguard. I think they're called fender Jazz bass. but basically it can be on the top for the thumb or on the bottom for the fingers.
