I have one.Every Time I play its different.I record directly to Logic Pro X and I use internal Effects or Toontrack Ambient Delays and Reverbs.I love the Lyra-8.It is fantastic.

I've just purchased one and for me I'm enjoying the performative aspects (from someone that uses a tracker with everything under control). During Covid I'm getting lost and being led by where it wants to take me and I just love it so far.

Getting hands on with this is truly the best way to experience it with how twisted the sound can get. Throw a low pass filter on, pair with a nyx, and let those drones just roll.

This got me inspired to make some research on the Lyra. I might prototype one on Pure Data since I don't know anyone who owns it!

#lyra8 is a beast, i love it - i can mediate away and lose time so easily - make the best techno or ambient, turn it off, come back another day and think you will do the same and nope, different, close but not the same - brilliant tool even if only to lose time with

Well I have not got mine yet..two weeks to wait. You seem megga excited about it. I have only seen and read a lot about it. May I be just a little bit rude?... You are twiddling the knobs way too fast. You need to tweak them very very slowly and wait to see what happenz....sometimes as much as 15 seconds!!!? Did you give it to your daughter? She will have that mastered before you finish your tea! Great vid and funny to see your very happy smiles with the Lyra8. Only trying to help

Recently built the Elmyra which is drone machine inspired by the Lyra8 (its wonderful for the price), but it just not like this really. Maybe that first step into Soma will have to be made.

Great enthousiasm, thanks!. When you have a solid piano and guitar culture, you can throw away all your keyboard synths and keep only the Lyra for making synthetic sounds. You will appreciate acoustic guitars and piano in complement a lot more. It should not be named organismic but orgasmic.

I dislike the state we ended up with regarding this surplus electronic hardware. Im an electronic engineer btw who builds synths, effects and stuff. It’s just all the sane and lame.
