he did turn unexpectedly lol.. he literally hard stoped and turned. he tried to draw a penalty and got hurt.

Man, he's got his back to konecny the whole time. That fault is on k, not Chabot. No last minute movement other than stopping up, but obviously konecny was going for the hit the whole way regardless.

One of the most basic fundamental skills taught by good coaches in minor hockey is never putting yourself in that position on the boards. Unfortunately there are coaches that teach kids to make this move to draw a penalty. What they don't tell the kids is how many kids end up in the hospital.
