Happy Birthday Thomas Dolby born on October 14, 1958. He is an English musician, and composer. Dolby came to prominence in the 1980's, releasing hit singles including She Blinded Me with Science and Hyperactive!. The stage name Thomas Dolby originated from a nickname "Dolby" that he picked up in the early 1970's, when he was "always messing around with keyboards and tapes". - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Dolby

At least in terms of what the music video is about, it is. Essentially, this version of Thomas is trying to teleport "Caroline" from her car into his museum, turning her into a statue in the process, as to preserve her beauty, I believe. Definitely an unsettling concept, for sure

OK Class... Pay Attention!! When "The Golden Age of Wireless" was First released it had a Completely Different album cover & Did Not have "She Blinded Me With Science!" And some other differences. (The cover was Thomas standing on a college lecture stage). You can find pictures online. Dr Magnus Pike the Old Professor in the "Science" video was a kind of geriatric "Bill Nye the science Guy" on Television in England. He hated his return to the British TV spotlight... Which consisted of people yelling SCIENCE! at him as he walked down the street! He had no idea doing that video was going to change the rest of his life. The Very 1st CD I ever bought was Dolby's fantastic "Aliens Ate my Buick" album. With a very hot band of unknowns that he found by running an ad in the 'LA Recycler' newspaper.

He made a playlist containing 6 songs that was edited the day he passed. This is one of the 6 songs. With the method he used, he was dead after about 30 minutes, probably unconscious around 12 minutes. I like to think that it was peaceful for him with his music on.
