What's not clear is that they were intent on picking one candidate over another; they seemed to have been attempting to reduce Americans' confidence in our system of governments and elections. Jumping to the conclusion that this proves Trump colluded with Russia is way off base. That is much different than being wrong in his opinion that Russians tried to affect the election. Regarding collusion with Russia, this indictment is more indicative that they have no evidence that any campaign colluded with Russia. There is, however, evidence that the Obama administration colluded with Russia in the sale of US Uranium rights...

Dan Seven Trump Sr. is not going to jail. Mueller is not going to indict a sitting president. He is a by the book kind of guy who will probably follow precedence. If he finds wrong-doing, he will send a letter to the DOJ/Deputy Attorney General who could then forward it to the congress sitting forth actions considered unlawful. Congress can then move towards an impeachment if they determine those actions to be Impeachable. The House, under the Republicans would probably not vote to impeach Trump. If they did, it is very unlikely he would be found guilty; remember it would require a 2/3rds majority vote to convict. Even if both of those unlikely events occur, he would just be forced to leave office. This nonsensical idea that President Trump will be going to jail is foolish since the new President would probably give him a pardon; just like Nixon got.
