Actually this is my fav becoz of how he allows us to listen to the instruments. After all this is the song which is used to judge if someone is a great Mbira player. I appreciate how he doesn't sing much on this track and allows us to hear the Mbira

@@jeannsibanda6779 no mapungubwe is a place where the Karanga people are believed to have originated from. The place is in South Africa and this is a festival for cultural music named after Mapungubwe a place of historic importance. The song is called Karikamombe. There is no connection between the song and The name Mapungubwe except the cultural significance.

Sadly Dr. Thomas Mapfumo is owing money to people who he pleaded and begged to play during the Thomas Mapfumo and Blacks Unlimited tour show in December 2018 in Zimbabwe. It's not only a couple of dollars. People traveled all the way from the UK to Zimbabwe to the tour for near a month and they haven't seen any single penny. No travel costs, no food costs, no show costs... Nothing... Dr. Mapfumo keeps saying that he will pay, but money doesn't come. It seems that he doesn't understand that people need money for food, bills, rent, and debt that they have accumulated because of this tour, paying everything for themselves with the promise that they would see money at the end. It has been over a year and Dr. Mapfumo pretends he has forgotten about it. He wants to keep his reputation but he has no dignity or respect for others. Shame on you Dr... You sing about peace, love, and anti-corruption but yet it seems you are a dictator!
