His actually full name is Thomas Rhett Akins, his father’s name is Rhett Akins, and his father is also a famous country singer.

He is Thomas Rhett Akins Jr legally. And Seb, he has a song called 'to the guys that date my girls' you might want to check out. :LOL One of my favs is 'Remember you young', but I also really like 'Look what God gave her' &' Marry me' (which you need the official video for & you have to watch till the last frame on the video to feel satisfied with the story.

I turn 50 this coming January 😊 Doctors said I wouldn't see 30. Meet my other half in 1997, we got married in 2002. He passed away in 2020, and I treasure even the hard times we had together. I still wear my wedding ring.. And I still think of me as Ryan's wife. I have faith I'll see him on the other side. I love watching you two together, and the seeing you talk about each other and your children. Never change that ❤

As someone already said Rhett Akins is his father. They actually did a song together and in Thomas Rhett's song about Country music, not sure the name, he actually references his father's biggest hit, That's Ain't My Truck.

This song has always seemed like my theme. Lol I spent 4 months in Uganda many years ago as a missionary, so when he sings the line about getting a daughter from Uganda it toiches my heart. I was surprised that you didn't talk about the line "you make plans and ya hear God laughing." Isn't that true. Lol

When he started out in the business he wanted to do it on his own merit and not because he was his father’s son so he chose to go by his first and middle names so that he wasn’t using the same last name as his dad. They also now have 4 littles girls, after they adopted Willa his wife Lauren was about to have Ada, Lennon and Lillie.

Man if I was Thomas Rhett, it might not be necessary & I might be getting extreme but if I had my kids at a concert? I’m hiring top tier private security not only for my wife but at least 2 private security guys for each of my children. 2 for each kid, 2 for my wife, however many they deem necessary for me & my family (I’m saying 2 at least but if one of the best private security agencies tell me they need more to protect each & all of us then I’ll pay for more security) then on top of at least 2 guards on each of my family members & myself, another squad of roaming security & another 2 guys at least waiting as a reserve / backup unit & 2 more doing surveillance, overwatch, & being for lack of a better term, the “combat controller”

Sebs explained that KZfaq requires him to break up the original video. And it’s his channel to produce as he chooses. I’ve found on reaction vids if I feel the reactor is talking too much (Charismatic Voice does this with her vocal analysis) for my taste on a song I’m unfamiliar with, I go find the original and watch it through before coming back. Let’s me hear the song in its entirety and then appreciate the commentary.
