13:08 The engines will never be made faster because a narrow gauge engine is usually slow and it's dangerous on a narrow gauge railway to go fast.

MSR: TGY is planned to have all engines with 3D face,s but the 3D faces cost money, so some have 2D placeholders.

Hello, here is rick, the one who made the industrious railway game. Yes as for the decoration part, the game as a whole was actually meant to be a testing ground for the real game but when it became a bigger thing we tried giving it some life on the areas. For the building aspects, those were some old prototypes we were using and hoping to improve for the main game, which we put them on the testing one. Overall, the game does need an upgrade on the environment in general and i hope we can do such possibly soon. Im pretty much in charge of the engine or rolling stock modelling so i got no idea how to make good terrain but i got some fellas that could help me out. Im pretty happy the game got mentioned on this videos tho, that was one of my goal dreams xd.

Hey Rick! That’s totally understandable and games take time too. So for what the game has managed to accomplish so far I think it’s pretty cool. You have done a really good job with the engines and rolling stock they are extremely nice models! But you already know from the video what I am not the biggest fan of but in ways to improve since your not the one doing the buildings or scenery I would say just help with advice and motivation for the people who do that part of the game really.

I think it would be a good idea to cover the older Thomas games, like railways and stuff. I would highly recommend crash games, as they were at their prime back then.

For msr the golden years: Oh yeah they're definitely getting faces over time. Both smudger and Stanley when I originally played it did not have 3D faces. Then the gained them a few weeks later

I wish someone would make a Thomas game where there's a career mode where you can accept jobs where you have to take a certain engine to a certain place, grab a certain train, and take it to a certain destination. You could then use the money you earn in order to either buy more locations to explore, or more engines to drive. Perhaps a certain upcoming comic-based game could capitalize on this idea (hint)?

Plunge into the scrappy used to be a full thomas and friends game called “Have a ride With Thomas and Friends!”, later the game was rebranded because of copyright and mattel, the legacy game was created but later deleted, so from a thomas game, into a half thomas game

Fun fact: Plunge to the Scrappy in a way is a Thomas related game as the main lore is that sir toppham hat wanted you to scrap all the engines

I’ve played Sodor Online and it’s really pretty good. I still don’t like the creator of the game but I have been thinking about separating the art from the artist but I’m not quite sure if I’m really wanting to cover SpeedySkip’s games just yet. Also I feel like all of Skip’s games people already know about anyway so I could just cover the other popular and lesser known games out there and give them some spot light. But idk I will just have to see how I feel about it when I get around to making the next one of these I guess

Try this game out. Sodor online is a pretty good Thomas game. It has many characters and there is tycoons that you can get money by doing jobs. There is also role-play trucks too

I wouldn’t recommend playing MSR the golden years as a lot of the models are stolen TSI trainz assets.
