Two talented gentlemen working together. Hope it goes well, guys! As much as I naturally preferred UK releases, ie Chases, Races and Runaways, there was just something unique and interesting about American releases. The covers were always nice to look at, even if they weren't completely accurate, and yeah, the episode organisation could be confusing for first time viewers, it at least gives the VHS tape or DVD a nice bit of variety.

Regarding "Thomas and Percy's Christmas/Mountain Adventure", the episode that was responsible for the change was "Billy's Party".

Awesome review. As I live in the UK, I don't have this VHS, but I love the episodes on it, though I prefer the UK version of "Thomas and Percy's Christmas Adventure". ...And I also love the song.

They changed Thomas and Percy's Christmas Adventure into a Thanksgiving episode because it was part of "Billy's Party", Shining Time Station's Thanksgiving episode...which didn't air anywhere near Thanksgiving, making it all even more pointless.

I’m glad you went over this vhs and its various releases. When I was a wee tot in the mid 90’s I have early memories of my grandma having this VHS tape at her house. Specifically, the version with the trains and their names interlude with the theme playing. I knew it was Percy’s ghost trick but I can barely remember any of the other episodes. Though those interludes are what locked it down for me.

I love this review, man! You guys worked really hard for this. Keep up the excellent work, can’t wait for the next review, and I say that even though Calling All Engines is nostalgic, I feel sorry for what ever you are about to go through. Hopefully they’ll be some good and bad elements of this special coming from you. Remember to keep a positive mindset whatever the weather. Good Luck, dude.

I don’t know why but I find it funny at nearly everyone of these dvd reviews ends with you saying this is the end but then you remember another dvd that you have to do. It’s like watching a tv show and getting a cliffhanger.

I'm not going to lie. That part where you break the "Thomasfan261 is a Fraudulent Bastard and Other Stories" VHS tape is hilarious!

At least SOME day in the future, you’ll reach the Brenner era and all those Hit and Miller DVD reviews will have finally paid off.

One of my favorite episodes got 10/10 bois Edit : it’s percy’s ghostly trick

I had the 1994 VHS growing up that I watched it during my toddler days. Thomas’ Anthem: I loved the song and each scene I tried to remember what episode it was from. When I saw the deleted scenes I was confused. Percy’s Ghostly Trick: The first shot still gets me and everything about this episode is terrific from Mike and Junior’s score to Percy’s Ghost Train and George Carlin’s narration throughout. Wooly Bear: When it comes to the stories of Season 2 this one feels like it’s stuck in the middle with me. Not a bad episode but an entertaining one as all the Thomas stories entertained me as a toddler. Thomas and Percy’s Mountain Adventure: I knew something was off when I saw this episode from the snow storm to the Christmas decorations in the end. Despite the flaws for the US whatever version you prefer to watch works for you. Escape: One of the best episodes to look forward to on the VHS and something I remember reenacting with my ERTL models in front of my Uncle. Oliver Owns Up: The stories with Oliver were ones I looked forward to seeing when this VHS got popped into the VCR. I loved every shot from beginning to end and there were some rolling stock here I wished ERTL released. All At Sea: The perfect episode to conclude the VHS. Everything from Duck and Percy working at the harbor to Duck’s journey to get the man to Bertie and the last shot of Thomas, Percy and Duck looking out into the horizon make this episode perfect that in a way I can almost see it as me having just spent the day with a couple of friends.

That tape at the intro gave me a laugh

That theme in Escape is Oliver’s Escape theme, a variation of the theme from the 1963 movie the Great Escape.

Great vid! This is probably my favorite Thomas dvd because it basically has some of the best episodes, speaking the episodes… Is it sac religious to say that Thomas and Percy’s Christmas adventure specifically the UK dub is the best episode of the show. This is just opinion but does anybody agree?

Kid Thomas fans in the 1990's: No one notices the differences within Season 3a and 3b. Today's Thomas fans (at least around the 2020's and so on): Everyone now notices the differences within Season 3a and 3b.

So now whenever I want to watch trucks or Percy’s promise or any other episode that has missing music in US dub no matter which version I watch what is that a restored version of DVD version Amazon ripped from a VHS it will always have missing music.

UK home releases are honestly better. I'm not just saying because of nostalgia, I saying that they are better they have more creative covers and the US DVDs weren't in Widescreen for the longest time.

Put for my opinions about the Thomas Tank Engine and Friends Percy ghostly trick and other Thomas stories contains the very first sing-alongs on TV ever made which was Thomas's anthem from Series 3 back in 1993 this was my first time ever eventually hurting the Thomas and Friends is a foam and my singalong stories has childhood DVD release that he's the glass back then when I was little and the adversaries for songs that I even heard because I wasn't even born in there not even the 90s I was born in 2002 back then when the very first season came out AC reset and the first song that I ever heard is James the really Splendid engine song on this release
