Murdoch's Misadventure

Күн бұрынNote: This video is not intended nor suitable for children. Murdoch is a character I've always wanted to put in TEOS but there was no public model available. This story takes place a month or two before Wretch's episode and is actually based on the original idea of Henry pulling Wretch to pieces in an explosion. Sound effects by GWShunter.
This is the last video of 2023, the ten year anniversary of my channel! Even though I had hoped to put out more videos, I thank you all for the support!

And just like that 2023, and Thomas1Edward2Henry3 delivers a great way to end it with a bang (pun semi-intended). I like the fact that Murdoch gets a starring role, and the fact that there are hints preluding to Wretch’s first day and Phil Boggiston’s eventual arrival in the finale. With that being said, I say thanks for entertaining us this year, and I look forward to whatever’s brought forth in the future.

Yay! Sodor's gentle giant finally gets a T1E2H3 story, complete with classic T1E2H3 humor and references. That explosion was awesome, like "Toad Stands By" on steroids! I also like how there were once multiple "Wretches" all over the Island XD Happy New Year, and congratulations on soon-to-be 11 years on KZfaq!

I absolutely enjoyed this EOS prequel with Murdoch who is a character that is always welcomed to be the main character of any fan story. You nailed it here for bringing your 10th Anniversary to a close and a Happy New Year!

I love how you made Murdoch's character more dynamic and much more than just "big quiet engine." I like how his character is similar to Hero in the sense that he's strong, prideful and one whose presence demands respect, but I love how he diverges from Hero in the way how he has a low tolerance for nonsense and how he handles the trucks by matching the energy they give him. On one hand, Hero would've let the trucks do anything they wanted and just tolerated their behavior, eventually getting them to quiet down. Murdoch on the other hand? Just rips them to shreds and scares the trucks into silence!

I had a feeling tankers in front of the train wasn't a good idea, but to bump them and cause a leak, that was unexpected. So dark, that accident, but impressive work.

Plot twist: those tankers that Murdoch killed were some of Wretch’s henchmen that wanted to continue on Wretch and Phil Bogiston’s name even after their deaths

Cool idea, but this took place years beforehand. They could still be the henchmen of Wretch, though. I guess that is why some of them are called hench-tankers!

I hope you'll include more hit era and cgi era characters and give them more screen time and development including the american engines to show how they were modified to run on british railways and fit through br tunnels. By the way, Belle's water cannons are actually inspired by the lbscr d2s fire fighting modifications during the london blitz and to improve the flaw in design by adding a water tender to connect to their cannons instead of her boiler so she doesn't run out of water, me and kernow pictures came up with this idea.
