The Eagles almost traded for Super Star QB Andrew Luck back before the 2012 NFL Draft according to a new report from Zach Berman of Phly Sports. Philadelphia had their QB in Mike Vick but according to Berman, they tried to trade up in the Draft to grab Luck to pair him with then Eagles HC Andy Reid. Also, is GM Howie Roseman about to sign Milton Williams to an extension, Lane Johnson and Brandon Graham defend Jalen Hurts and how wild did Jason Kelce’s weekend get?

We're in a much better position right now then we were at the end of last year the coaching staff is proven the players buy into them the players are talented these rookies or talented the free agents talent we could win the whole thing this year I tell you this we're going to be even better next year and the year after Go Bird's 🦅

@PHIVonG92 same here. Andy is successful because he keeps that offense consistent for his QBs. New stuff but pretty much same overall ideology. With Nick we're technically on offense 4 in 3 seasons.

Milton and Ojomo still fought last year when everyone else checked out. IDK what that means for this year, but keep it up...... because I don't see much past 10-7 maybe 11-6. But, I do see a more solid playoffs, which is all that matters.

The fact that our D-line is ranked 3rd in the NFL is crazy. That’s how good our team is. That’s not even the strength of our defense necessarily. This is going to be a wild year with all of this talent we have.

This is why players should never listen to fans when it comes to them getting paid . If your boss is working on giving you a pay raise which will be at least twice as much as you signed for as a rookie , and they are doing this in good faith already knowing how you played the last three years and now entering your fourth year. Then why in God's name would you advise anyone not to take the money they will offer him especially if it's very good money , to bet on yourself and play your fourth year for a bigger pay raise later. You do realize that this man plays a very contact sport and if he should get hurt or gets injured is out for the season then that very dumb suggestion just costs him plenty. The Eagles like him and will take care of him as they are doing everyone they want to extend. And let me leave you with this example of a player doing exactly what you just suggested. This happened many years ago to an Eagles middle linebacker who was one of the best at the time , and was on the verge of being a star . Mr. Byron Evans was his name and instead of him signing a very good contract the Eagles were going to give him , he got greedy and bet on himself and got hurt in that same season and never played football again . These guys are already betting on themselves when they make it to the NFL and play past their first contract .

The Eagles showed a complete lack of leadership last season. Number 1 it's Nick's fault. But Jalen just kept saying the same thing during the press conference. So this is Philly where the press creates it's own narrative and Jalen didn't help. But, winning changes everything. So they'll shut up by week 10.
