What I really like about their covers is that you can actually understand the words of the songs

wenn a finn speaks english, he may have an accent - but you will understand the words. the challenge for a finn is not to pronounce every letter - because that is how they are pronounced in finland. there are no silent or omitted letters so the word "cough" would be pronounced co-ug-h" when the finnish mindset controls the tongue. while you would just pronounce it "coff"

It's such a cool cover. Gives it a totally different feel. Love it. I always get a smile out of their version of Pantera's Cemetery Gates gone Polka.

What the drummer used were two birch whisks. You take thin birch twigs, de-bark them and tie them together. Then you can use them to whip cream with.

Awesome!!! I'm really happy that you reacted to this song because it needs to be heard by more people. Their version is one of my favorite songs! Not just a favorite of their's but of all time! It's one of the few cover songs that I actually think is better than the original and I liked the original but this one is phenomenal.

Yeah it's a really nice cover! In fact I suggested it to a small reaction channel back in time, and the reactionist played it. The day when they name Bluegrass/Seagulls before Kimi as Finland's contribution to the world culture, can't come too fast. 😜 Noora is in my very top vocalists, so of course I watched her visit to Seagull's nest. Eden made a wonderful country song too. And I can somehow figure that, but then they made Janice Joplin's "Piece of my Heart" also a country tune... and its lyrics were just fitting to the genre! And Noora's transformation to a country singer was so good. Was such a wonderful episode to watch for me. I'm glad to these guys became popular. Their music videos makes one smile.

This is a fine, fine version of November Rain! Very finnish too 😄 Thank you Thomas, it was lovely to see this on your channel! There's a finnish cover band that got a lot of radio play in the 90's called Vilperin Perikunta. They made a lot of fun covers with crafty finnish lyrics, my favourite is their version of Down Under by Men At Work. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/p5eJZLxirNW3aIE.html Their sound and style is a bit different, but Steve n' Seagulls always reminds me of them. And there's a banjo! 🤘

One of my favourites with Steve'n'Seagulls is Burn by Deep Purple, not a song I knew before so I went in completely blind and it was awesome. They truly rock that one, it's like it's made for accordion and weirdly tuned steel guitar. Or whatever that guitar is, it doesn't sound like any guitar I have heard before at least.
