Great points here, even when thinking about streamers which bring new eyes to the game, people are interested and enjoy things from the banter. Unfortunately this can turn into drama in the scene and hurt it but your experience on the desk shows an instance of that being avoided. Definitely the key element is to remember it's entertainment, but then again, butthurt pros is entertaining too.

one thing i can identify with is the elitist thing. its not that i am the winning team joiner, but just want to watch the most high quality cs unfold. especially when you watch astralis right now it is insanely beutiful how clinical and seemingly easy they can win. navi also wins much, but so many rounds are far more sloppy, super close and someone has to clutch it out. all the other teams seem to be super inconsistent and all over the place right now

You need someone like Thorin on the cast scene for CS when breaking down plays, he mixes things up and makes it very entertaining to listen to and just provides a very clear cut view on what is actually happening in the game at that time. If I was a pro player on the scene and he was firing heat on me due to me maybe playing bad on the day or just plain sht in that match, I would watch and listen to his views because he is hilarious and second being a pro you should be able to take a lot of heat for bad play and sit back and think, "yeh I screwed up there big time, I should have been here to prevent this or counter that". All Pro's should have this sort of mind set across all games, it's what makes the best in my opinion.

Please Duncan, never change, as a person or as an analyst. Your style really is the salt in the soup wich spices things up. Even if im biased because a team plays that i like (recently the BIG fairytale story f.e.), and you cut the wings, i still like to hear your points, the facts, and of course the banter.
