I've been using this method of striking a ferro rod for years. It's not as impressive as a shower of sparks but it definitely is the best way. Thank you for showing this! (Subbed)

Hallo Skawtty, I thought the same thing when I first tried, and yes u dont get as many sparks but they are more consentrate :) Thx for the sub

This is the first and only video that I can find where anyone says whether it fits or not with the multimount. I even had shops tell me that they don't fit together, yet I clearly see here that they do.. Thanks!

Quick update. I now own the knife and I can say that the survival kit does fit on the multimount! Good luck everyone!

That diamond sharper is very rough grit. Still, it's better than nothing

The weather and plant life there looks a lot like here in Minnesota USA

It dose, well it is futher north, but because of the Gulf stream, were are a lot warmer than compare to the same lattitude in US, I have been living in Oregon and that to was kind of the same, Though we have a lot more Birch and Willow than there were in Oregon Best regards Thorbjørn

@@Thoristesting we have mostly pine and birch here. Some oak and such but not as much. You've sold me on this survival kit. It'll go great with my garberg
