In this episode we explore Thor's Well. This is a beautiful natural salt water fountain on the Oregon coast. This spot is very popular for photography because of its unique features. The recording was done on a few different days, so you will see different tide levels and weather. This spot can be deceivingly dangerous so be careful.

Thanks everyone. That was fun. Please let me know what spot you would like to see next. Here is another video from Cape Perpetua. I follow an artist down a path to a giant Spruce tree, where they will watercolor paint the giant: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qtB7mZebsNqvhKc.html

I love Thunder Hole! My first trip to Acadia was during IGY in the 60s, my science fair win in Ohio placed me on the mountain with science teams observing a full solar eclipse. The next day we trekked to the shore including thunder hole. I eventuajlly moved to Bar Harbor after my first college stint, and eventually to Portland, Oregon. The geology of the entire PNW is astounding.

@@MattCookOregon I'm a total Skyrim fan! Oh that's so kind of you to say and ask. I'd be delighted if you used any of my music. I wouldn't mind a little credit in the description though :) Let me know what you like and I can email you the original tracks so you don't have to rip from the videos. Or whatever is easiest for you. I live up in Vancouver, BC, and love Oregon! Your videos are stunning in every way!

Thank you. Adding story and history has been my goal lately. Silver Falls State Park? with the 10 waterfalls? Good spot. My only problem with that place is that my dog is not allowed. I do have a couple cave videos, including Lava River Cave by Bend. I also did Sawyers caves and Crack in the Ground.
