It isn't a timed thing actually. Thor has special dialogue for certain button combinations. For eg, if you try to do a Runic Attack he'll say "Look at you, trying to remember your old moves". Similarly jf you try to call your axe during the first phase he'll say "Can't fight without your axe? Coward."

A little norse fact for everyone, mjolnir actually has the ability to revive people. Thor uses it to revive his goats every time he eats them, so it wouldn't be a stretch to make it so he can just full out revive people. one catch to this ability is that the bone marrow of the dead musn't be damaged, so for example, when magni got an axe shoved through his skull, if thor tried to revive him, he would be reborn with a hole in his cranium.

@@rrockstarrj no, the health bar colour is always on yellow no matter what, and smaller enemies don't 1-2 shot you lmao, they do a lot of damage, but thats rediculous. Thats like playing as the doom slayer with no armour, nightmare mode is hard on doom eternal, but you can survive a bit more than 1-2 hits lol. God of war you literally play as a God, its very difficult but not that hard.

When I fought Thor I was too focused on the fight to really look at it, but I thought it was a splinter of yggdrasil cracking like how Thor and The World Serpent will in their fated battle. What made it even more belivable in my head was that Thor said this fight felt familiar, and seeing as how Jorm was sent back in time from his fight with Thor I figured it might have been hinting that

The pros to losing a lot in a boss fight is you learn all their attacks and their weak points. Cory’s winning attempt against the huntress is a prime example, starting off with a stun and a lot of damage
