Don’t tell me they cut the part of Ylva cutting his hair?! I know it’s a small “scene” but it’s adds so much more to the sibling dynamic Thorfinn and Ylva share. These small moments are important too!

Yeah but I think they had to have this kind of "epic ending moment" and that would have not fit in with the overall scenery Like, if this scene wasn't the end of the season, it would have been awesome. For example, if the end of the season was the moment they decided to go trades some goods to finance their expedition to Vinland.

Apparently these two are relatives. If Thorfinn's grandfather is Sigvaldi, head of the Jomsvikings, then his great-great-grandfather is Gorm den Gamle, former king of Denmark and great-grandfather of Canute. King Harald Blåtand, father of King Svend and grandfather of Canute, is the brother of Strut-Harald, father of Sigvaldi, and grandfather of Helga. Canute and Helga are second cousins
