Info (No Spoiler) Although the real height of Thorkell "The Tall" (IRL) was never known, in some sagas it is said that he was so big that he could not ride horses, so to get around he had to ride in a carriage pulled by 2 horses. Now, the size of people and some domesticated animals has increased over time, in the Middle Ages (around this time in the series) the average height of men was 1.60 cm. or 5'3 ft. and for women it was 150 cm. or 4'9 ft., likewise the height of the horses was between 160 to 180 cm. or 5'3 to 5'9. In the anime Thorkell is 230 cm tall. or 7'7 ft. which is also the height that some historians and anthropologists estimate about the real one (of course a little less than that).

Thorkil is the polor antithasis of what this story is trying to say yet he is such a fun character to watch, also phyco viking goku is a perfect title for him

This underrated show so good. I don't even care if people react to it or not anymore. I just want people watch it, focus to it, experience it and thought about it. If you have time just watch it by your own. For those channels looking for more viewers, I don't think Vs suit for it. Joke aside, do you know why Vs have less views? Coz Vs fan r busy irl to be a better man, Kekw. Anyways have a good day and have fun. Peace.

VS is bit different anime. You could say it's more like normal TV show than anime. The show follow historical fact and reality of life. Yes the fighting in VS is a bit exaggerated compare to in the manga like jumping far etc. Maybe coz it's anime? XD. Most people don't like it coz gore I guess. The best and the worst has yet to come.

Not only because it is an anime, but because it is a saga. A saga is basically an epos, an epic story about national heroes, events, etc. So, some things like inhuman strength, prophetic dreams, or miracles are just romanticization of those heroes and events. Would you be interested in reading about a character, a hero of your or someone else’s people, who doesn’t stand out at all? For example, in my country, there is an epos about our ancestor, the hero of our nation - it's called Manas. It is pretty romanticized, however the historical events and figures in this epic poem are accurate. That is what Vinland Saga is. A Saga in the first place. In my opinion, that is exactly the reason why some characters of Vinland Saga have some mythical power.
