What's in this 6.7L Powerstroke Intercooler Bundle?
The HSP-P-492 is a full package intercooler bundle package. This kit has both our hot side and cold side intercooler pipes with everything needed to install!
‪@HSPDiesel‬ the Hot Side Tube for the late model 6.7 Powerstroke is made from aluminized steel. This provides a lot more strength, but also allowed for mandrel bends. The mandrel bends give the strongest and best shapes to the bends to allow for the best flow and least amount of turbulence. HSP Diesel upgrades the boots to a 5-ply, high-strength, silicone style to replace the weak and prone-to-fail factory boots. Also included, the billet coupler needed to install with a new clip. This means you will be on the road longer and with a more reliable setup than the factory.
The factory Cold Side on the ‪@ford‬'s 6.0L Powerstroke is a serious weak point and has been from day one. HSP has upgraded to better boots and stronger bent tube. However, the biggest update to this part is the billet coupler. This is an upgrade like nothing else on the market today and will not only increase the reliability of your truck, but increase the power you can handle.
