Great topic, with fame comes pride, which is dangerous. CS Lewis said, "Unchastity, anger, greed, drunkenness, and all that, are mere flea bites in comparison: it was through Pride that the devil became the devil: Pride leads to every other vice: it is the complete anti-God state of mind." However, God never asked us to do big things. He asked us to do things with great love. 💜 John 3:16; Mark 12:30-34; Luke 10:27; Matthew 22:36-40

I agree 💯💯 My heart breaks when I see my favorite Christian artist interview and not mention Him or watch them during a concert and not actually praise but relish in the praise of the song they wrote or perform .Oh man they are being deceived one “I’m bring God glory” at a time 😩

It’s sad that most people in this world worship celebrities over God. So many celebrities claim to be Christian yet don’t walk their faith. It’s all for publicity. Money talks and that’s a root cause of evil.

Does God necessarily need us in a building? Shouldn't our homes be a Temple of Worship? Was Jesus walking around, Bible in hand? Was he in church religiously? Or should I say ritually?

God will check your agenda on a daily basis. He knows what you're chasing. He knows what you're deepest desires are. Fame, money, security... he knows. If you're not taking God with you every day then you'll fall into the traps of the devil concerning fame, money, status. The world will eat you alive. You have to consult with God about your career, about your dreams. If you're not constantly inviting God into every situation, into every decision then you'll fall into a trap. Plain and simple. We've all gotten trapped in some way. God knows what's best and God can see our future. So we need to always consult with him in Everything.

Hmm, says the man who did exactly what he is saying you should NOT do until he was rich enough to now speak down to others. I normally love this family buy this is unfair to people who have the dream you had.
