I absolutely adore your commentary and completely agree with your rankings! Honestly i love the love story of the first season obviously minus Daphne trying to baby trap the duke but throughout the season the attraction and relationship complications were very well represented. For season 2 i did like the drama but the love story felt disconnected and i felt myself struggling to believe Kate and Anthony were falling for each other, it didn’t feel real. Season 3 is my favorite out of the 3 minus the creeping feeling of them just trying to cram the stories together but i do love that we are getting to see new love interest of not just one Bridgerton. I cant wait to see what else they do for Colin and Pen!😁🫶🏽 (Also yes i did come your short ranking the books🩷)

With what they’ve done with Eloise character on the show, I’m not sure how they are going to make the romance with her and Philip work in the show. I feel like people are not going to want her to end up with him. And they will definitely have to change her book adaptation a lot to make it work with what they’ve done in the show so far. Also, yes. Season two I feel like they were so focused on the drama that they absolutely ruined the sister’s relationship. And the betrayal was just too much. I just couldn’t root for Kate and Anthony in the end and found it hard to be happy for them. Francesca’s book is my favorite! So seeing the background of Francesca and Jon is going to make it more heartbreaking! I just love Colin and Penelope! And I hope we get more screen time with them in part two! I feel like the side stories have kind of taken too much time. But their first kiss, omg was so so good! The carriage scene was so good too! I do wish he would’ve found out sooner about her being lady whistle down though. I feel like they are going to amp up the drama and hope that doesn’t take over the season. Also, the cringe of Colin like trying to be flirty and stuff I think is intentional because he’s not being himself. He’s trying to be someone’s he’s not. But I have high hopes for part two!

I feel like they're trying to get people to feel sorry for Cresida and maybe even like her a little bit, and I'm trying to figure out how they're going to mesh that with how she behaves later in the story. Its doesnt make sense.
