Just had to do that to mine. I took the amp apart and cleaned out the heavy corrosion with deoxit. Should last a while.

there’s a reset button near the top left of the screen, you need a paper clip to get into it and hold it down for 5 seconds

The fitment is the same between 2006-2013, they never changed the size of the headunit.

Yea theres a physical button to switch the modes on the right side. Theres also a button to heat up the mirrors

The carplay is screwed up on mine too. Won’t connect wirelessly or wired. Did factory reset and still doesn’t work with the TLink5 app even when I redownload TLink5 from the APK Installer

Hi! Theres videos on youtube on how to take the oem head unit out of the car. After that everything is plug and play wire wise. I didn’t have any previous experience, it took about 2 hours for me to install it but its not hard at all

Yes, you can do it with Car Setting app.

There are three plugs that are kind of on one wire loom: one is for the 06-12 with no nav, one for 06-07 with nav, and one for 08-09 with nav. You should only be using one of these plugs.

Kind of late but mine is doing the same thing. When I turn the car off, the hazard lights start blinking but when I turn it on they function like normal. Did you figure out the fix? Thanks

@@Vaxry Unfortunately I didn't find the chance to check it out, but it has to do something with the connections. I was told by the seller do not connect three cables. Also, regarding the "Passenger" indication I thought it was the passenger's seat belt, but as I read it's the passenger's airbag. Not sure about that though. Another thing regarding is, if I switch the passenger's airbag off, then the hazard alarms are blinking all the time, no matter what.

@@sotiriosmichairinas1593 I found out what the issue was. There is a cable that says 06-07 on it from the Headunit. I have a 2008 and had it connected and it was causing the hazards to blink when car was off. Once it was unplugged everything worked normal.

@@my2is I’m just confused from the adapter wiring clips that go between oem and the new one… granted I also have the oem nav system wiring💀 I assume it’s probably different from the non-nav systems

@@my2is - For install, did you keep the Tire pressure box (the black box attached at the top of the radio bracket), or does it get replaced by something with the new head unit?

The buttons worked for me no problem after everything was installed. Perhaps maybe you received a defective product

@@my2is that might be. I just entered my car and now i have my ‘danger’ lights blinking. Is there a way to disable them via the screen? My buttons won’t work. I guess otherwise tomorrow my battery is empty;) I did a factory reset for the head-unit via the menu, now the 'danger' button is off.

@@my2is thanks for you feedback. Due to that, I investigate the problem and found it. The wiring from the factory went wrong. The wrong side of the connector was used, therefore i could not Connect the other side. Can i add pictures here for other people who might have this issue?

I did this swap - had the original nav unit + camera + mark levinson. Aftermarket camera is hard to install - it is very different from the factory one and we had to make a kind of a stand under it, so it sticks enough to be useful. Run wires etc. is also not easy. Seller says you could connect the original one, but resolution would seem very bad on the new display. You loose the active guide lines when reversing. Buttons on the wheel - next track and previous track/ station are switched and you can do nothing about it. While the music/audio is not bad, it can't be compared to the original Mark Levinson audio - not so clear & loud and gets distorted pretty early on. EQ is s*it - you pretty much have to use the presets. GPS antenna is really weak so i installed it under the cover of the center speaker on the dash (remove the plastic box first). Now it works fine. Pretty big upgrade, compared to original outdated nav, but has its downfalls of course. Get the 6GB Ram version.

@@Juxnchito Seller says it should work, but you have to rewire it (run new wires from the original camera to the head unit) and set it in the settings menu to NTSC signal. The resolution and quality would be quite lower than the aftermarket camera, which is great but a pain in the a** to install properly.

@@pd5041 you might have a vacuum leak somewhere. I had the same exact issue (it wasn’t throwing any codes) so I went in and checked the hoses going into the intake manifold and sure enough the one that connects the PCV valve into the intake mannifold was loose (I guess that one comes loose really easily on the 2gr-fse) so I double clamped it and now it’s good.

@@flinizsxc My car does not come with the OEM camera. So I have to do the new wiring when I installed the new backup camera.

Mine don’t work either and lots of the buttons are very delayed and don’t work.
