I used my friend's Powershot stapler, model 5700M, to install Kraft backed Insulation. It jammed frequently, which was quit frustrating. Personally it might be OK for a homeowner who doesn't do a lot of stapling, but I definitely would not recommend it for construction use. It jams a lot and finally quit after trying to fix a jam requiring disassembly. Using this stapler is a love/hate relationship. I replaced my friend's Powershot with a new one, which I felt is a lesser quality than the older ones. ARROW needs to go back using good material in this stapler even if the cost is higher.

I keep mine lubricated often with WD40. Never jams.

We have been through 3 of these they are junk and the negative reviews on Home depot for them is unbelievable There is not anything jammed in it and it will not shoot staple it is 6 months old and I am a woman that uses it very little. I bought it so often because it is easier to use but it is costing a fortune for them......JUNK

My Powershot is branded Black and Decker. I bought it in the late 80s and I've never had it jam. It doesn't have the screw that you undid to get the track out. Done thousands of staples trough it. Looks nearly the same as this Arrow one.

Maybe it's because I use short staples for light jobs, namely for putting up targets at the shooting range, but I have had zero problems with my Powershot. I love it.

The Powershot stapler is the biggest POS i have ever used. If I didn't just though it across the room for jamming on me for the 25th time. I would bring that POS back and never by another Powershot again

I’ve had my power shot for 15 years and I’ve never had a jam but I don’t use long staples ever like you are in the video so I think it is the long staples where you have the problem

I have one of these well before Arrow started making them it was Power Shot Tool Co. I bought it 15 years ago and it is still going strong

Currently sitting in the Walmart parking lot because the one from Home Depot that I bought today specifically for the brads to add trim to cabinet doors... right out of the package, nothing! I made sure I put them in the correct side, no jams, just nothing happened... took that slidie metal thing out, the metal driver thingie engages when you pull the handle, IDK it’s was just DOA. hubs is inside buying an electric one and will be returning the dud to Home Depot in the am... we had one just like this before, it did staples ok, did jam fairly often if I half assed it...

Why the staples only go in half way or they fold ? I have to hammer in the staples since they don't go deep in the wood. I'm using it to upholster kitchen chairs.

"PowerShot" is a misnomer. It has pathetically weak action compared to the T50. But in the interest of fairness, both jam constantly and suck generally.

Bought one kept jamming literally eevery other staple! So i returned it and got another, same thing! Jams every other staple. Ive used different brands of t50 staples in it with the same results! Obviously i believe mine is an absolute piece of garbage!!!

I have a craftsman it sucks also. Don’t know how many times this jammed. Probably jammed first time used it. My girlfriend and are very unhappy. It’s supposed to use those little nails also even crappier part of gun.

Crappy stapler! I bought 2 and they kept jamming n the small white plastic piece inside on both broke! I'm just stating my experience with this brand. Yours might be different

First one jammed and broke. Second one next level up jammed and broke. Third one got an electric one and it has worked much better

Poor stapler gun design not very convenient for clearly up the jam. I bought another after the first one broke had same problem with second one too. My local hardware only stock this model. Thank god for amazon now

Absolutely worthless tool. I wish I saw this before I bought one. It's going back to the store tomorrow. Drove less than 100 staples, at least 6 jamups. I lost count.

Don't bother frustrating your self taking one of these apart and not knowing its slightly BENT you will go through a period of hell thinking your an idiot of all time not figuring they bend? yes they bend the slightest they will not work by the time you put it back together ? at that time you will be so angry you might just through it through your window. By a new one and find one that won't bend at the slightest millimeter it will put you through hell when it is . especially if you taken steroids of any kind and not the anabolic i mean the Metabolic.

I wrote on mine the ( Biden stapler) It back ass backwards and has many jams. Will not put in a 3/8 staple into OSB ply. Unable to put it in a pocket to move around. Do not be in a hurry to use this as you can staple your own hands!!!!!

Are you using the heavy duty staples? although this stapler is not powerful enough.
