I ordered the John Mayer G-Shock as soon as it was available and was lucky enough to get one at retail price. This is an unboxing and first impressions of the watch.

Is that a pair of J1 Crafteds I spy? That was the exact combo I had in mind with this off white colour way. Great review by the way.

i don't know if someone else said this here yet, but talking about the OP-1 design, it's no wonder it makes you think of it since the OP-1 itself was also inspiredc by a casio VL-tone keyboard that is very similar looking to the other casio keyboard offerings. however, the OP-1 is actually a grey white that leands towards the colder side where as this watch seems to be more of the cream/warm off white side so they would quite clash if put near each other imo. just thought id add my 2 cents :) nice video, i just picked up the newest one that just dropped today and that got me to look at older videos about it

Great review and sharp looking watch. I’ve been looking at them on e bay but refuse to over pay for it because you are right at the end of the day it’s still just a g shock.

Right they always hike up the prices on g shocks when someone’s name is attached to it even with Mayer name on it it’s still a g shock
