So are we looking a maz, or both of them?

“You can’t do the two goalie thing anymore” But they are! They barely cut any of that salary, THAT is why everyone is hating on this

A sens fan i can confirm we are much happier about this trade

After this deal,they are not closer to the Stanley Cup.

What are you talking about? They were literally the second best team in the league. We gave Florida a hell of a series. Then they went on and made it look easy against everyone everyone else. Until they took their foot off the gas against Edmonton, and made it a seven game series. We are very close to the cup. First round draft pick helps that maybe they can flip it.

I hate this trade. It took on a bad contract that last 4 years. I just don't get it. I would rather them get less draft capital and take on that headache

Who the hell was operating the switcher for the camera angles? Every two seconds it was switching from a close up to a wide shot.

Jim. It’s the money. We should have freed up 5 million in space.
@michaelcorcoran87687 күн бұрын
Right and if you're not going to freed up at least make sure the players are getting back are usable and aren't going to get in the way of your current players developments. They just basically traded it a very good goalie on a 1-year deal for a s***** goalie that you have to pay for 4 years and a draft pick.

If you think about it, we’re pretty much the second best team in the league. After we lost to Florida, Florida, made it look very easy against everyone else until they took their foot off the gas against Edmonton. That just tells you how good the Bruins are. So damn close.

Not for nothing but the Bs got just as steamrolled as everyone else by Florida

Plus all great teams. Have a very good back up. If your starter gets hurt, you need that good back up to fill-in. Goalie is the most important position on a team. Without a good one you’re screwed.

Oh please, Tampa made it to three straight Cups with a backup goalie who you've probably never even heard of. Chicago won 3 Cups with 3 different backups...and I'm pretty sure 3 different starters too. And the same thing is true about Pittsburgh during their 4 Cup appearances. Fluery was there, but the backup was different each year. Other than the Bruins, those are the 3 most successful teams from 2007 to now...and none of them have ever prioritized locking up a strong backup G. So no, all "great teams" do NOT have a good backup and you are absolutely not screwed without one.

Now bruins wanted to get Sens top pick 10th. I would throw Ullmark , Beecher 2nd pick for it. Whatever I can do to clear the cap space . Seems would of said umm ok not bad deal . Now either Sweeney holds Korpisalo by good goalie coach Bob can help turn him around not only that u give him solid 20 games who knows behind sway n D core we have. His wins be solid save % will raise a bit like say 9.20 ok we talking. Hopefully gets his value up only way . Or Sweeney buys out his contract. Or if u wana get rid of him u gotta throw in current player say Korpisalo, Lauko n pick see teams will take it.

It has nothing to do with The personability of any of the players involved it's taking on a s***** contract that has 4 years left on it.
