Thoughts on Upcoming PlayStation Announcements

8 жыл бұрынI wanted to give my thoughts at the last minute on Sony's upcoming PlayStation Announcements.
I am not too sure that Sony would go to a Upgradable Hardware route. It would add additional cost with little to no benefit. A Modular Platform would have it's limiting factors such as Power Supply, Bus Speed, I/O Limitations.

It's difficult not to note your bobos, due the framing of the cam :) Bou, speaking seriously, what do you think of new AMD PRO processor, they say it's /th generation bla bla. Maybe you can find a sponsorship, to test PC architectures! Greetings from Chile.

Interesting thoughts Catherine. Me personally I'd be happy with just 1080p 60fps on all Neo games.

The Neo will be powerful enough to get 2k gaming. Trust me on that Catherine.

Daughterboards are a thing of the past LOL Shame though, just because I do have fond memories of them in Oyster CPM servers... ;-)

Sounds like consoles are finally hitting their wall unless the companies bump up the specs alot and price again.

Hope ps4 neo is native 4K and not up scaled

That is wishful thinking. Most games released on PS4 and XBOX One currently are sub-1080 and are just upscaled. I highly doubt the NEO and Scorpio will offer Native 4K. We are still a few GPU Generations off.

+jakthebomb yup totally agree with you,was a good dream while it lasted,it's going to be a great console either way but I'm not buying a 4K tv just for a new console,very happy with the ps4 I got :)

+jakthebomb may i ask something do you know how thick the thermalpads are of the ps3 phat 60gb im searching like crazy >.

Davide Munno The RSX and Cell don't use Thermal Pads. Only the XDR Ram, EE/RS and North Bridge chips use Thermal Pads. As for thickness, I really don't know. I know the one on the North Bridge and EE/RS are thicker than the ones on the XDR Ram.
