As Mika Paananen said, he was pretty well known in Europe ! He was in every other magazine in France. I always associated him with Lordz/Square, he was know as the guy who only skates switch if I remember correctly

Always loved Alex's skating, so glad to see him back. He actually looks like he's working for the hard shit, which is refreshing in a sea of skaters trying to make it look effortless.
