This dude is such an original. I'm glad there's no music because a soundtrack would color my impression of this style. His skating is entirely original without being "weird on purpose" or following any apparent trends. There is a strange tension to his skating which is nicely juxtaposed by his ability to land everything.This is one of the best parts I've ever seen and wildly superior to the actual DC part. I wish every video was edited like this, without music and multiple angles/replays. It creates the sensation of actually being there.
