Such a good video. Although keep in mind that the tension may vary depending on the fabric. So you can turn the knobs until the threads stop snapping 😅

Just bought one of them On impulse. Was getting worried it can't do narrow, Thanks for the demonstration. PS my singer electrified 99k is still going strong,

I don't have a looper or any extension on the same machine, I use 3 threads for the purpose. For a nice finishing of scarfs or dresses that need a high volume, as ballerina skirts, or it can go flat, or curly if you stretch the fabric. This is a great detailed video and I love to see the threading

Do you recommend using a clear thread for organza or silk chiffon so you can’t see the thread?

Hi, Depending on what you are making, and how much stress the seam will be under, you will be better off using either polyester or silk thread. Clear thread tends to stretch and could break. Happy Sewing!-AK
