Hello Everyone and welcome to Bellwright a upcoming medieval Open world survival/rpg. This is a game I have been looking forward to for a long time and I hope you all join me as we take on the game together on the Impossible settings...

Establish and expand your own settlements, liberate the land and assist its villagers, and recruit others to your cause while learning more about a life you had to leave behind. Command your forces, prove your valor through combat, and cement yourself as the hero of your people.

Now as some disclaimers here and a mini FAQ
- I am aware the developers prior games having played both of kings and men (shout out any Teutonic knights + the kings men out there) and last oasis I would advise doing your own research before making any purchases.
-The game is out for a early access release on steam before being release fully.

Yep Irregular Upload Time! The game came out a few hours ago so could not release this for the normal time slot :) Tomorrow should be normal time I am looking forward to playing this game on the channel I hope you all enjoy the video.

Is the steering the same like in M&B: Bannerlord? I mean you press arrows pointing the direction and then block or attack pointed direction?

not that i can see I do not use that method of fighting myself in Bannerlord but you can remove fluid blocks so it acts like base game mount and blade

@@ThreatX but can you configure the way of fighting as it is in M&B: Bannerlord? I do not know other series of this game and only know Bannerlord's system. For me preferable: arrows to point out directions and then LMB to attack or RMB to block.

@@DaivaDarpanaI can't tell you a 100% because I havent played this game but if the combat works the same as it did on Last Oasis, yes, it's the same as in Bannerlord. I think TheatX didn't understand the question.

Probably more of a UK thing you have to live in the deep north to see trees without a road being in sight so not many kids would be armed. Though I am curious on how a child would have the strength to use a bow with enough draw weight to actually be dangerous

You don't need much familiarity to deduce that a young boy without a bow probably didn't toss that arrow. Alas, education wasn't invented yet in the game setting.

@@ThreatX I suppose thats fair, i grew up on a farm/wood acreage stateside. Hunting (bow season included) is taught pretty early if your family is into that. Bow weight can be lethal even at the adolescent stage though for sure less so than a warbow.

It looks good and I have heard mixed reviews, however it’s a shame it’s being developed by the same team that did “Last Oasis “ which was abandoned. Will give it a few months as updates seem to coming thick and fast, so we shall see.

Honestly last oasis is why it has mixed reviews in the first place along with ai voices that can just be turned off. Without those factors pretty sure the game would of had far more favourable reviews. As far as survival games go I think this is by far one of the better ones but this comes from someone that has no interest in grinding and likes npc management :)

This looks close the the kind of game I've been looking for... mildly RPG-like survival game combined with Minecolonies lol. I hope the smoothness and animations of the combat can be improved though. Other than that looks really great.

14:22 make sure you film it ThreatX! I will say though, this example here is a piss poor design, as I'm sure you're aware, there's a reason Thatchers use bundles of reeds and layer them. The gaps you see in this shelter would let not just water, but the cold in too.

I am nearly 100 hours in and we are still half way through the tech tree. It is always a debate buy a EA game now or later but in terms of content this game easily has its £1 per hour quota met for myself :)

The game has a loot table though I have seen the ability to loot there gear in the past seems very rare though balance wise it would let you stroll through the game

Weapons are later game crafts, being able to cheese them early on by standing on the roof of your house would completely ruin the games progression

Oof the dialogue is _awful_ lol. It's stilted, does not fit the time period in the slightest, and is utterly *riddled* with spelling and grammar errors.

The devs where saying on the discord the story is not finalised yet as to why they have not had voice actors come in to do the lines so hopefully that will change as the development progresses

The devs of this game are not to be trusted. Donkey crew has abandoned multiple games at this point. Just look at the state of Last Oasis. Basically abandoned at this point
