Made the salmon cheese ball. It was a hit at our family get together as we welcomed kids home from college and out of town kinfolk. Great Aunt Norma, removed her teeth so that she could savor every bit. . Now, to make the ham and cheese for Christmas and the buffalo cheese for New Years' eve. Thank you Kaleb.

My family usually gets me to make a cheese ball recipe for Christmas. The cheese dough is imperial cheese (sharp), flour and butter. You can use pimento stuffed olives or dices mushrooms for the centre if the ball. It's bit of a process to make them, but they are SO good. Just make sure the olives o canned mushrooms are really dry. Too much moisture makes a mess.

My suggestion is to make them into logs instead... so much easier to serve and stays more presentable on the table...balls just become a hollowed out mess and its not easy to get any.. a log and a spoon served neatly from the ends is the best way.
